    What is a mandala?
The word mandala means circle in Sanskrit and is often found in Hinduism and Buddhism. Mandala is a universal symbol of wholeness and harmony and can function as a kind of painting therapy. A mandala consists of geometric shapes and symbols often used in spiritual traditions. Mandalas can be used as a tool in spiritual guidance, to establish a safe and sacred space as well as support for meditation.
To create a mandala you can use this:
    Canvas
    Acrylic paint
    Brush
    Palette knives
    Glitter glue
Here's how to paint or create a mandala:
Step 1: Select acrylic paint and apply base paint
If you want a background for your painting, you can start by priming it with a base color. You can use whatever tool you want for this step but we used a brush. Allow your base color to dry for a short while.
    Step 2: Mark the center
If you want your mandala to be centered on your canvas, you can mark the center using a ruler.
    Step 3: Create shapes
Now it's time to create different shapes and patterns on your canvas. You can use any tool, but we used two different pallet knives.
Step 4: Let your mandala dry
    Step 5: Add details
To create further details you can use acrylic pens. We also chose to add glitter glue to our mandala for further dimension and detail.
