I made an earlier comment on this video but forgot to add that as a secular Jew I believed in God but was fearful of Him. Jeff I commented on one of your videos that I am a Jew who began to follow Jesus and with just my tiny comment I received unbelievable hatred from my own Jewish siblings. I can’t imagine the amount of anger and hatred that you receive from your videos. I just try to remember that Jesus was hated first (the man of sorrows). I appreciate your tenacity and respect your commitment to sharing truth. One day every one will learn that Jesus is the Christ and the veil will be lifted. I WAS one of the people that criticized JFJ at one point and called the members traitors. It is guilt, fear and tradition that keep our eyes veiled. I've studied the NT so many times, I read from it at least 3 times a week for debate purposes. It's got more holes than Swiss cheese. Anyone who thinks they know it has clearly not studied it properly in terms of the Tanakh and in terms of the historical events of that time.

It's only different language. Like netuvim, Ketuvim and seviim. He's shocked and read old and new Testament after that. Then, finally, my rabbi and me learning bout faith through jesus. I am one of those secular Jews who has never read the old or new testament before coming to Jesus. My journey came after the murder of my husband in the hospital by medical staff who were systematically and purposely giving people drugs and doing procedures to harm instead of cure Covid. I became friendly with people on Facebook who have gone through exactly what I did. They lost their loved ones the same way. And these mostly Christian women were stating how they could never get through it all without Jesus. I told them I wished I could have that faith. My cousin is a Messianic Jew and we talked at length about this and I also became friends with a woman in another state who talked to me as well. They both, separately, told me to read The Case for Christ. I bought a full bible with both testaments. Long story short I prayed every day for Jesus to show me he was really who He says he is. One night after such a prayer, He came and hugged me for at least 10 minutes. I became His on September 15, 2023. My faith in Him grows stronger every day. I miss my husband of almost 50 years every day but at least I have my faith in Christ to get me through.🙏❤️✝️

I belong to Jews for Jesus since the year 1997, as I was living in the Miami/ Ft Lauderdale area, when Moshe Rosen was the director of the organization "Jews for Jesus", in a time where there was no one, other than I and a few other Messianic Jews and Non Jews from the "Jewish Roots" ministry from The New Testament Baptist Church, who joined in the effort of carrying the good news of Yeshua as the Messiah to the Jewish community in that area. I have to tell you that we have to be prepared for something called "Spiritual Warfare" in which the forces of evil are heavily against us who are witnessing for Jesus the Messiah. I would like to encourage you quoting the following verse from one of the epistles written by the Apostle Paul to the newly planted church in Ephesus about 2000 years ago: ... Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might . Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. I know you mean your comment in all sincerity, but it is a real mistake (and actually insulting) if you think Jews don’t believe in Jesus because of some sort of pride and failure to ask God for truth. Jews don’t believe in Jesus for many very fundamental reasons.

I am a Filipino, I've been a subscriber about a year ago. I am a born-again Christian. Indo believe that we are now in the end times, Christ Jesus will come back as soon as all the nations know Him, in Matthew 24, when His disciples ask Jesus when will be His second coming, Jesus told them signs, and one of those is that the gospel will be told to everyone. That is why apostle Paul went to gentile nations. My poiint is, when all the Jew would now know the gospel and accept Jesus as the Messiah as we all do, i believe that will be the second coming of Jesus. So, I encourage everyone to receive and believe that Jesus is the messiah. Continue preaching the good news.

A faith based on one born in Bethlehem and grew up in Galilee doesn't sound foreign to me. Abraham and David looked forward to the one named Yeshua. David revealed my Lord shall not see corruption. Being a gentile I feel beholding to the Jews for giving us the scriptures and the messiah being from the Jews. The more I know the Tenach the more I love Yeshua, The Lord Saves. Bethlehem (The house of Bread) the city of David sounds so Jewish to me and not foreign. The Biblical festivals only bring me closer to the Messiah. Remember the festival of Pentecost, Josephus the Jewish Historian wrote how the everyday Aramaic person bringing offerings to the Temple didn't understand the Hebrew of the priests in saying the Great Hallel . God in a miracle revealed the Gospel message to the pilgrims on the day of Pentecost! What a great Jewish miracle happened that day when 3000 Jews came to faith in Yeshuah that day!
As I’m not jewish myself (just have jewish ancestors), I “feel” that the biggest problem is the fear of loosing the jewish identity. I mean, the fear that believing in Jesus makes you not jewish anymore. My sister has converted to judaism and she was trained to hate Jesus as a judaism destroyer. Sad.
What I find fascinating is that there's Jewish writings that talk about the red thread that they used to tie to the scapegoat wouldn't turn white and that the lots that they would cast had the result of God not accepting their sacrifice, for 40 years before the destruction of the 2nd temple. There was also something about the temple doors. Forgive my ignorance and bad memory, as I may have not gotten the details entirely correct. That Arielle mentioned Matthew 27:51 spurred a thought about the next verse (27:52) that I had about 8-10 years ago. And I’ve never had the chance to ask a Jew about it. I see that verse in Matthew 27:52, which is subsequent to Christ’s crucifixion, connecting with the first 14 verses of Ezekiel 37. What are your thoughts? Also, have you ever considered content (maybe for a 2nd channel) that discusses the symbolism of Old Testament items and how they transit to the New Testament? Things like the Passover, Tabernacle, and the various feasts. I know there is much context required to understand fully what comes from the Torah and Tanakh-that’s what I wonder about. (Please define “Tanakh”-I have gathered that it refers to the Prophets, but is that all? I learned to view the Old Testament in several sections. Law, History , Prophets and Psalms.) Thanks.

I was born and grew up in Jewish family. And also I have private rabbi for giving me a lecture bout jewish tradition.
Once a day, I told my rabbi that I started to believe in faith through jesus. He's disappointed and told me that "I'm no longer a jewish".
But, I tried to tell him about the Gospel of Christ and it's the part of Torah. The Torah itself also the part of Gospel. It's only different language. Like netuvim, Ketuvim and seviim.
He's shocked and read old and new Testament after that.
Then, finally, my rabbi and me learning bout faith through jesus.

I am one of those secular Jews who has never read the old or new testament before coming to Jesus. My journey came after the murder of my husband in the hospital by medical staff who were systematically and purposely giving people drugs and doing procedures to harm instead of cure Covid. I became friendly with people on Facebook who have gone through exactly what I did. They lost their loved ones the same way. And these mostly Christian women were stating how they could never get through it all without Jesus. I told them I wished I could have that faith. My cousin is a Messianic Jew and we talked at length about this and I also became friends with a woman in another state who talked to me as well. They both, separately, told me to read The Case for Christ. I bought a full bible with both testaments. Long story short I prayed every day for Jesus to show me he was really who He says he is. One night after such a prayer, He came and hugged me for at least 10 minutes. I became His on September 15, 2023. My faith in Him grows stronger every day. I miss my husband of almost 50 years every day but at least I have my faith in Christ to get me through.🙏❤️✝️
Our faith is easily proved by facts and history to anyone who searches looking for truth. But you looked for and found the living Yeshua to love you in your need. I am so blessed to hear of His love being shown to you. That's what sustains us through the difficult times. God bless you.

Hi Jeff and Arielle, what a great apologetics from the two of you on the Jewish faith from those of us who beleive in Yeshua as being the promised Messiah in the Tanaj (Old Testament) scriptures.
I belong to Jews for Jesus since the year 1997, as I was living in the Miami/ Ft Lauderdale area, when Moshe Rosen was the director of the organization "Jews for Jesus", in a time where there was no one, other than I and a few other Messianic Jews and Non Jews from the "Jewish Roots" ministry from The New Testament Baptist Church, who joined in the effort of carrying the good news of Yeshua as the Messiah to the Jewish community in that area.
I have to tell you that we have to be prepared for something called "Spiritual Warfare" in which the forces of evil are heavily against us who are witnessing for Jesus the Messiah. I would like to encourage you quoting the following verse from one of the epistles written by the Apostle Paul to the newly planted church in Ephesus about 2000 years ago:
... Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might . Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood , but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians Ch 6: 10-12.

I am a Filipino, I've been a subscriber about a year ago. I am a born-again Christian. Indo believe that we are now in the end times, Christ Jesus will come back as soon as all the nations know Him, in Matthew 24, when His disciples ask Jesus when will be His second coming, Jesus told them signs, and one of those is that the gospel will be told to everyone. That is why apostle Paul went to gentile nations. My poiint is, when all the Jew would now know the gospel and accept Jesus as the Messiah as we all do, i believe that will be the second coming of Jesus. So, I encourage everyone to receive and believe that Jesus is the messiah. Continue preaching the good news.

I think they would recognise it and that they would be really excited to see that the prophesied Messiah had come. It is very interesting how much it is overlooked that we gentiles joined YOUR faith by becoming Christian, not the other way around.
A faith based on one born in Bethlehem and grew up in Galilee doesn't sound foreign to me. Abraham and David looked forward to the one named Yeshua. David revealed my Lord shall not see corruption. Being a gentile I feel beholding to the Jews for giving us the scriptures and the messiah being from the Jews. The more I know the Tenach the more I love Yeshua, The Lord Saves. Bethlehem (The house of Bread) the city of David sounds so Jewish to me and not foreign. The Biblical festivals only bring me closer to the Messiah. Remember the festival of Pentecost, Josephus the Jewish Historian wrote how the everyday Aramaic person bringing offerings to the Temple didn't understand the Hebrew of the priests in saying the Great Hallel . God in a miracle revealed the Gospel message to the pilgrims on the day of Pentecost! What a great Jewish miracle happened that day when 3000 Jews came to faith in Yeshuah that day!

As I’m not jewish myself (just have jewish ancestors), I “feel” that the biggest problem is the fear of loosing the jewish identity. I mean, the fear that believing in Jesus makes you not jewish anymore. My sister has converted to judaism and she was trained to hate Jesus as a judaism destroyer. Sad.

What I find fascinating is that there's Jewish writings that talk about the red thread that they used to tie to the scapegoat wouldn't turn white and that the lots that they would cast had the result of God not accepting their sacrifice, for 40 years before the destruction of the 2nd temple. There was also something about the temple doors.
Forgive my ignorance and bad memory, as I may have not gotten the details entirely correct. I wish I was able to cite it more clearly and accurately off the top of my head.

That Arielle mentioned Matthew 27:51 spurred a thought about the next verse (27:52) that I had about 8-10 years ago. And I’ve never had the chance to ask a Jew about it.
I see that verse in Matthew 27:52, which is subsequent to Christ’s crucifixion, connecting with the first 14 verses of Ezekiel 37. What are your thoughts?
Also, have you ever considered content (maybe for a 2nd channel) that discusses the symbolism of Old Testament items and how they transit to the New Testament? Things like the Passover, Tabernacle, and the various feasts. I know there is much context required to understand fully what comes from the Torah and Tanakh-that’s what I wonder about.
(Please define “Tanakh”-I have gathered that it refers to the Prophets, but is that all? I learned to view the Old Testament in several sections. Law, History , Prophets and Psalms.)

I feel a special bond to the Jewish people, because of the fact that God chose to create, from Abraham, the Jewish nation, so that Jesus could be born from, but you being Jewish must have this bond much stronger! How blessed are the Jewish nation that Jesus was born from them? As was Maria. Yet, God could have easily chosen another! So, God did not need, or require, the Jews or Maria, but He chose and designated them. That is the blessing!
Instead of being thankful for Jesus being born from them, they choose to deny and despise that notion! I can only pray that the Jewish nation all accept Jesus Christ as their savior!
