One year update: still holding up extremely well! The one thing I am amazed about with this bass, out of all the basses I've owned, is that I just never get tired of its tone. Every other bass I have owned has had a tone that I got tired of hearing, but not with this one. Its sound is so close to the Pro Series variant, with the main differences being in material and build quality. Definitely got a lot of years to go with this bass.
Sorry for the late reply, I didn't receive a notification about it weirdly. It has been really good to me within the 5 months I've owned it. The tone/playability is the absolute closest thing you can get to that of a Pro series Warwick for under $1000. The bass has a different feel/playability to me since I'm not used to playing on a long scale neck, but it is definitely not a low-quality instrument. Hope you're enjoying your rockbass mate!
I would recomend the 6 strings just for those who play Bass just as a Lead instrument, yeah, you can play a 4 or a 5 string Bass as a Lead instrument, but, the C string gives you a nice tone for Lead.
And people. Do not forget, that amplifier in the back is a future classic. I tested it's higher end brother. Wich was allmost too clean. This smaller Hellborg brother has the same DNA but it allso can get somewhat dirtier making that it is incredibly versatile.
Meanwhile, I can say we improved the quality on both ends and we are now in the process of releasing new product demos to replace the other ones on our website. Feel free to have a look and give us your impression! Thanks for watching!
Hey Andy! Is there a Streamer RockBass in 6 string version and how much could the thing cost? Great reviews by the way you are making my decision about what my next bass should be very easy and very hard. I know it's going to be a Warwick but I can't decide between the models. Cheers!
For the most part it would probably still sound good. The main issue with down tuning a B string is that it sometimes becomes quite floppy and dead. For the other strings, I wouldn't worry about that.
I have a question. The pickups seem to be diferent to the 5 or 4 version, but i understand that the 3 basses are the same one just with more strings, the question is, why?
All three versions have the same split-coil MEC pickups. But the 6-string version has the MEC split-coil pickups that come in a soapbar shape. The coils within those soapbar MECs are laid out just like a P pickup with the treble coil closer to the neck and the bass coil closer to the bridge. That's just the way MEC decided to make their pickups for the 6 string basses. But the sound is pretty much the same.

Still going strong?
@@Bobobox95 Still holding up very well. No issues of any kind during my ownership experience.
Mo Mehio wow thanks for the quick reply awesome dude!
@@Bobobox95 notifications are a great feature lol
I just got this instrument used from Guitar Center for an unbelievable $399; this video was the reason this bass won me over.

@@momehio9544 How comfortable is it playing the higher notes on the lowest string?
@@johangericke1492 like on virtually any bass I have ever played, not comfortable haha. Unless you're tapping.

Good Demo Andy. I Just bought one of these basses and I'm glad to hear the other owners are so very satisfied with it.
That is a Warwick BC300 combo. You'll find more information on our website. Thanks for watching!
Great tone...
Wow, such a beautiful bass...
Definitely my kind of bass for heavy metal

sounds so good

"Available in Natural Satin or Black High Polish Finish", from the "6 string" info page.
I wish for more colors and finishes.

Muito bom ,sonzão.Pena que aqui no Brasil não tem.Lembra o som dos warwick bass antigos com pickups seymour duncan.
Finally! Properly mic'd demos. :)
What's up with that noise in the background of the tone from 3:50 - 4:18
Now for a RB Streamer 6.
Please, Warwick. You make my wallet cry.
Is it possible to turn off the active system?
The Warwick BC300. Awesome stuff..
Loving the sound of this instrument. Silly question, but does anyone know if it would still sound good tuned down a full step?
For the most part it would probably still sound good.
The main issue with down tuning a B string is that it sometimes becomes quite floppy and dead.
For the other strings, I wouldn't worry about that.
I was thinking more along the lines of putting on bigger strings. A lot of basses tend to sound bad past a certain point even with heavier strings.
Well you can try that as well, but you can never know unless you try or you find someone who tried :P...
Yeah, figured it'd be worth a shot to ask around. Thanks still, though!
should still sound really good but might have a bit of string/fret buzz at some points due to strings getting a bit floppy being tuned down ..
what bass is better? This RB or Ibanez SR506 BM??????
Next year. For sure. Unless they release a Streamer equivalent! /hint
Just ordered mine!
Warwick! Warwick! Warwick ♥️♥️♥️😍😳
Did you see the image at the end of the video?
Are those single coils or humbuckers?
can you tell me what amp that is in the back?! i love that thing!

I wish I could find a place to buy this.
Finally!!!
Alguem pode me dizer quanto custa esse bass por ai?
hi, this bass have a fretless version?
At the end it shows the available options for it, along with the fretless. Pretty great stuff.
It's actually a 5 piece neck
Made in???
Hi there, the Rockbass line is made in China, while our other lines, Masterbuilt and Teambuilt are made in Germany.
@@FramusWarwickOfficial thank you very much 🤝
Lindão
Andy Irvine's demos were nearly always done in an echoey room where they all sound like poop. The Warwick demos on their site are just played poorly.
China?wtf
