Gillbaka is one of the tastiest and most expensive fish for years now. Back in the '70s it was $5 GY dollar for a slice. Nice cooking. Hope you are not cooking rice in a rice cooker...... it woud be a disaster healthwise later in life.... always strain your rice and run cold water over it...... get rid of all that starch. When I was young, my nani would strain the rice and the liquid was know as Maar. You could pour it over ants nest to kill the nest or add sugar and milk and it would make a drink for us young grandchildren. Cheers.
It's called a Mortar and Pestle that you use to grind and pound the garlic and seasonings. It's a tool that was used in ancient times of A.D and B.C as well throughout time. It was used by medicine women or men that was practicing healing practices or simply in the sciences. But now this symbol is associated with the medicine of Pharmacies. This is why you see some pharmacies use the symbol. A lil explanation, knowledge every day. Keep showing the love. Bless. C.R.

Neville Persaud bro remember all a woman needs is your time and attention and any man that gave them that would definitely be very happy and don’t be afraid to do the things you used to do when you first meet your partner continue to do them that’s how you maintain a good relationship. It really feels good to hold hands and walk on the beach. I know we Guyanese are shy to express our affection in public especially the older folks but hey don’t be afraid to hold or hug your partner in public. It’s your life so live it. Many people look at me as if I’m crazy because I walk around talking to a camera now if I bother with what people thinks of me then I won’t be making these videos so it’s not important what people thinks about you what is important is how you feel about yourself
ITS OUR LIFE -ARD yes your right about that. Especially in Canada even me lots ppl guys husband and wife girl friends and boy friend hold hands and walk. And that’s something I does do a lot. king Tutankhamun it’s open for ocean vessels and closed to motor vehicles for one hour every day sometimes when there is less vessels the opening time is shorter and when there is lots of vessels the opening is longer up to one and a half hour.
@@ITSOURLIFEARD ok👍🏿got ya. I hope the next bridge is high enough for ocean vessels to pass under. That wait time is bad for business. Thanks for the feed back bro!
Mohamed Foyjeen Those are spices grind together. You can buy them in any West Indian store in Canada and America or you can find a wide range of spices in India 🇮🇳.

That curry looks yummy
Need to invite you to come cook in my kitchen 😁😁
Oh yes fresh and delicious.
Why do you have to wait 1 hour to cross the Demerara bridge? Is there a specific reason ?
C. R. Yes the bridge usually opens once a day to facilitate large fishing and cargo vessels passing through the Demerara river.
@@ITSOURLIFEARD Ah .....ok. understood.
Bai wa you crying for at the end of the video?
Looks yummy
Landscape lets me think of Nickerie( Su)
$100 for 2 green mangoes, wow farming fishing is the way to go, $100 US for fish.
If the bridge is open, why an hour wait?
king Tutankhamun it’s open for ocean vessels and closed to motor vehicles for one hour every day sometimes when there is less vessels the opening time is shorter and when there is lots of vessels the opening is longer up to one and a half hour.

@@ITSOURLIFEARD nice im from the east coast [Enmore] but im living in Orlando Florida now can't wait to go home for vacation
That look so delicious, but I don't eat that fish.
Nice video, however, I would like to know in detail what’s in the masala/curry powder please. I’m not from Guyana but I love eating Guyanese foods.
Mohamed Foyjeen Those are spices grind together. You can buy them in any West Indian store in Canada and America or you can find a wide range of spices in India 🇮🇳.
Garam masala is a seasoning of the classic indian cuisine im not guyanese im puertorrican and real fan of the indian and guyanese cuisine
