  • I made this wood clock from pallet wood I got from a wine-barrel manufacturer down the street! This trash to treasure project was an easy way to make a homemade clock for very little money.

Very original made. I've never seen somebody using a multi-tool for cutting out the circular parts. But you proved it is possible. The not totally round circle makes
it very rustic. The numbers came out very nice. They are hand written but they look as being printed. Chapeau. Thanks for sharing and being an inspiration.

Nice stuff! I'm a big fan of the pallet wood projects. Have you ever worked with epoxy resin? I think you'd be a fan of these types of DIY projects. Super fun

This is so awesome!! I love it!! I'm going to make one!! What's that tool you are using to get the edges rounded off please?

Thank you! It's just a multi-tool I found at Aldi actually. It has three uses: two different types of blades and a sanding attachment. You can find something similar on Amazon here: amzn.to/2uhedAY (aff link)

Hmmm... I finally followed Ann's advice and took Woodglut. It's great for beginners and has some advanced stuff too.

I have checked many woodworking plan sites. I think the instructions from Stodoys are the best.

It's good that I'm looking for something else because this one just keeps coming on so this is rubbish

This "wood creation" will crumble into pieces at the first fart.
wrong tools, wrong techniques, no safety.. even glue bonding is a total failure.
Now.. I know this is a low price gift but I can't believe someone will hang this poisonous/shaking/hugly object in his own house.
A real woodworked die every second spent watching this video

astinus72 I'm not sure why you feel this way. It's been a year since this was created and it's still working in great condition, hanging on my friend's wall. She loves it! I am not a woodworker, I'm just starting out learning and have limited tools to work with. As far as poisonous, I don't think that's the case. The pallet sat outside for a year before use and the stain is a homemade vinegar and steel wool mixture. I just wanted to reply so you could hear my perspective, even if you don't agree with it.

You can't be serious astinus72!!! What an ugly comment. The only thing I can figure why you would leave such a weird and distasteful comment is because you - yourself have attempted to make such a beautiful clock and failed. Your comment is a joke! Enough time spent with you!!! Now as to you Melissa, I have just discovered your channel and your talent and DIY projects that you share are phenomenal!!! I came to your channel looking at ways to install laminate flooring and after watching you complete your kitchen floor I had to check out the rest of your DIY projects, you are AMAZING! Thanks for sharing your talent!! And this beautiful clock you made from a pallet....well it's Amazing and your friend is lucky to have received such a gift!! Don't let ugly people's comments like astinus72 (the name kinda says it all, sounds like a rear end body part part) affect your day, not worth a second thought. Some people sit behind their computer, probably chowing down on a bag of chips and wishing. :) Your numbers look like a stencil, you are one super talented girl!! So glad I found your channel, keep your tutorials coming!!
