The reason this video exists is because I wanted to see how well I could make an intro like other people do*, and I think it turned out pretty decent. I just decided to turn it into a joke video poking fun at the common video format that I mentioned because if I'm going to make a test intro, I might as well find a way to upload it, and to let any subscribers of mine know that I want to be trying out a new format maybe.
*Most people commission their intros, which is a big part of why I dislike the format. I don't mind when people get paid help if they actually need it, but I find it annoying when people do it simply because they lack any skills to do the work themselves. It's 100% a me thing though, I care way too much about principles. I just personally believe if you have to pay someone else to be successful, you don't deserve it.

This video is A JOKE! SATIRE! NOT SERIOUS! I'm not bashing anyone in particular (I used a ragetrain video as reference for some scenes, but that's just because I forgot the names of other creators who have intros like this), I just find it funny and a bit annoying how every minecraft video nowadays follows the same "hyper-edited attention grabbing intro into regular looking video" format. It works so I can't blame anyone for doing it, I just personally don't like it. I will absolutley be trying it myself though.

Nah, I can EASILY think of how it could be more annoying. You could put random screaming or yelling clips from later in the video into the intro, for example. Or add earrape.

This is actually infinitely more bearable than most intros. Usually the voices are a lot louder, higher pitched, and irritating. They also tend to write their scripts in a way that's like talking down to a toddler. They also tend to somehow be faster paced while talking slower, however that works.
The last thing is probably because of repeating many things that are either obvious or have already been said.
They speak slowly while bombarding the viewer with stimulation.
You gotta put flash the words being spoken on screen too. Otherwise people will click off, we can't have that!

They edit out all of the space in between their sentences, so the pacing is always moving forward despite a lot of what they’re saying being a whole bunch of nothing
The fact that this is more bearable than most Minecraft video intros says a lot.

I honestly just want one of these guys to play through Sevtech: Ages or Sevtech: Ages of the Sky/ It's essentially Better than Wolves if it was actually fun and well balanced. If you're ever curious about it, I'd recommend checking out Chosen Architect's playthrough of Sevtech: Ages of the sky! He definitely cares a lot, and it's instructive and fun to watch for the most part.
True, someone who i will not promote was like "hm, RLcraft is hard, but i remember playing a really old and hard minecraft mod" and like 3 days after he posted his video about it i found a bazillion videos on the mod. AND NONE are that good, sadly.

working on it, around that or less, but I screwed up my blender settings and spent about 12 hours rendering basic things on accident.

How did you make this, what did you use?
for editing I use davinci resolve, it doesn't really make a difference what you use though, most of the work for this happened in blender, replay mod and the other visuals are just basic masking, color grading and motion graphics.
It's a lot, but what you use to edit it all together doesn't make much of an impact.
