Gandhi gone too much on appeasement of muslims to bring them join the independence war. Changing the song 'vaishnava janatho' is the classic example for this. Partition of our great nation is the outcome of this appeasement. This is the hard and unsavory reality which many of us try to ignore.

Gandhiji never appease any particular section of the society....& Pakistan resolution came much later in 1940....it had nothing to do with appeasement.....Jinnah & his Muslim league lost the 1937 election badly so he became frustrated & therefore he started provoking Muslims in the name of separate homeland...& that's how Pakistan resolution came into being in 23 March, 1940...

Gandhi was in one piece but this great country was divided on religious grounds. Why Gandhi sat for satyagraha on this?? Why he failed to convince jinnah? Why he gave call to support qilafat movement which was nothing to do with our coutry or our war of independence? Why he had not used his influence to save bhagat singh?? Do you have answers to all these?? I don't have any personal animosity against Gandhi but his decisions have an immense negative impact on us now also.
