- This is an instrumental, lyrical "karaoke" version of my solo piano instrumental of "Here In My Head" by @toriamos performed and arranged by yours truly, Josh Morphis!
Many of you have expressed the desire to be able to sing along with some of these videos I have been posting... and I am here to oblige! This video contains the lyrics to the song, musically choreographed to go along with the sweeping improvisational style I use in my solo piano instrumentals.

One of my favorites. When I listen to music I imagine shapes. This song is circular and swirly like a spiral, but more chaotic.
@@taniyarobasciotti very good observation, although I will say that this is one of the songs where the lyrics REALLY make sense to me even though they are so abstract. It’s the pain of young heartbreak. And now that you mention it, PLAYING it does feel very circular. It rolls.

@@joshmorphismusic music is so important. I grew up singing. I do not do it for a living but I sing constantly. Music explains our souls. Tori Amos has always been that interpreter to me. It's like she took the essence of my emotions and used lyrics and piano as a paintbrush to explain them. Her and the band tool. Now I'm into rap as well. Fast rap ideally. I could talk about music all day❤️
