I love the flagship feature, wish more phones kept them and went the xperia 1 way (with an amazing dac, so I can use my audio technica headphones from 8 years ago which are still the best for enjoying music and movies)

So I will suggest you if you are more into performance then go with iqoo z6 pro ... Rather than that everything is same among both phones...even you will get a good display in iqoo z6 pro than that of realme 9 pro+ ... But may be you will like camera of realme 9 pro+ because it will help you to click social media centric pictures... Whereas camera of iqoo z6 pro is also nicest at it price .... Does moto g72 in India have NFC? The spec sheet is confusing af. Since g72 is different in different countries. Some says no NFC while other say yes for NFC.

I was expecting a better Dimensity with 5G in this price range.....
Apart from the offerings, I won't consider this one rather 'll go with the older g71 as 5g is not far from us (talking of remote areas too), so what's the point of spending 18k or even 15k and then buying another one for just to access 5g.
Even America is not able to provide 5g across the country. 5 g will be limited to main cities in India.
The problem with getting g71 5g is that it came with Android 11 out of the box and moto will give you just 1 year of update i.e you will get max Android 12 which is already outdated.

what would you be missed? in opinion is if you get close to 50mbps 4g speed you are good to go.. it doesn't matter whether you have 5G or 4G connection unless you are planing to share your connection with office or apartment..
It's not about the 4G or 5G. It's about having appropriate specifications at the price range. Why would anyone buy this instead of Narzo 50 pro? It's cheaper, more powerful, has all the other specifications yet cheaper.

I experienced quality issue with My Moto G72 unit. I've never dropped it but it's camera module has become loose & is coming off from one side. And it's been only 6 months.
I Lost my samsung S series recently. I urgently needed a phone as my backup device couldn't support many apps and bought this phone at 12549 using all the offer possible and an old backup phone exhange. After 4 days of using I can say with absolute confidence. Moto G72 is the best purchase of this year for me. In fact 4G+ feature gets you better consistent speed. Speakers on this device remind me of the old Nokia express music, very powerful. I can recommend this phone to absolutely anyone - gifting to parents, Need a backup device, Need a powerful budget phone. All good. Go for it!

Please compare picture outputs of the G82 and G72. That'll be the deciding factor.
G82 is miles ahead in everything.. if u are thinkinh between 72 and 82.. Without hesitation go for 82.. Bonus it has all 13 5G bands support as well..

What about buying a 5G phone, using 4G sim for the time being and when plans become cheaper and 5G optimised, buy 5G sim and get better connectivity. Remember, 4G phones will have way less resale value after 5G comes. So it's more practical to look for 5G phones above 15k.

4g is not even a big deal like it is being hyped, you will get 10% improvement for the most part. Also the people who watch tech videos on youtube probably have wifi at home and at work, and people who dont watch tech videos probably dont much care about 5g; Outside of this Venn diagram are at best 20% people so 4g is still the best choice especially if 5g turns out to be more expensive.
Yeah literally. I don't ever feel that I am handicapped in any way with my 4g internet. Apps work fine... Texts and message get sent instantly... UA-cam videos can be played in the highest resolution without any buffering. The best use case I feel is gaming which i dont do... So i dont really care about 5g honestly

Everything checks out for me in the G72, but the MediaTek Helio doesn't just resonate. Having used it twice before, I can say it won't be up to the Mark. Only if this had the Qualcomm Snapdragon, I wouldn't mind paying upwards of 20K as well. 🕉️

Resently I brought this mobile at ₹14999 , surprisingly I am so happy , battery backup is so good it can run 1 day easily, and It will take 65-70 minutes for full charge , display at this price point is top-notch, sounds quality is also good and very Loud,

At the first half of the vid. I was thinking of switching to this phone from my K20pro. Not 5G phone isn't a deal breaker for me. I have wifi at home and work. But the processor, had it been atleast Snapdragon 730. That would be a steal.
It's a better processor than SD 730.
@Aj_ay with the specs it currently has. It CPU clocks at 2ghz. That's hardly a flagship killer soc. Gpu is abit better than 730. But still. I still prefer SD 730 for customization and compatibility with mods 🤷♂️

Bro I am also using k20 Pro from 3 years and was looking to upgrade but didn't. I almost bought poco F4 was getting it at ₹12k with exchange of my phone but didn't. I just changed my battery and the back glass of my phone which was broken costed me (₹1500 both) through authorised service centre and and now the performance of my phone is just like new. But believe me Snapdragon 855 is a flagship processor and you shouldn't be going with shit phone like this. And k20 pro has full view display which no other phone has right now in India and i will install Android 12 custom ROM. If you are facing any issue with battery life and performance just replace your battery through an authorised service centre MI is running a campaign under which battery will cost ₹700 only. And it will give a new life to your phone. Only thing missing is 120 hz display.
And if you still want to upgrade then at least go for OLED 120hz no don't fall for this poled scam. My recommendation would be poco F4 it will be on sale again soon on 4-8 October on Flipkart

I understand people are still skeptical about 5g and it's battery drain issue
But think about a year later or so when u will try to resell it or exchange it. The value of 4g smartphone will drastically reduced once Telecom companies start rolling out 5g across the cities.

That doesn't mean they will not give support to 4g phones. Especially parents ke liye this much net speed is Sufficient, Han apne liye lena ho to that's a diff story. And 2 yr se jyada chlana hai to you can go with 5g, baki 2 yr ka atleast samay lgega
