This is the first episode of a series of videos from this trip. I can't wait for you to see the rest of them.
If you have any questions please leave them in the comments and I will respond to you.

Every frame is a painting. Never gets old.
Color grading is crazy good here! Tutorial Soon...? 👀
coming soooon
Let's gooooo @@Gawx2
i was looking for this comment! Color grading was incredible 😍😍
@@Gawx2 Please!
This is insanely refreshing in a UA-cam that is so full of over edited, fast paced crazy clickbait videos, absolutely gorgeous and as a photographer I love how you shoot, it is gorgeous, I especially loved that sunset where the water looked purple, I see SO many iPhone "beautiful sunset shot", but that lower contrast shot because of the sun being behind the cloud, in combination with the motion of the water, the colour grading, lighting, like everything down to the tee is perfect, great work like always can't wait to see the rest of the series.
i love you
I audibly gasped at 2:11. You have worked so hard for your talent, of course, but you are also just so incredibly gifted. I even started tearing up at one point. Gorgeous work!
It’s amazing to see how your color is evolving - sharing emotion through the color is unreal.
It would be wild to hear you do some sort of voice over, sharing thoughts and things that you’re going through that relate to the visuals - so good man , always inspiring
thanks a lot! i tried something kind of different with kins one, kind of more "natural" in a way. that's a great idea, I have something similar planned for this series. Hope it turns out well haha
here for it @@Gawx2
the opening shot is absolutely stunning!!
thanks so much! it was such a magical place
@@Gawx2 where was it
let's go color, let's go composition, let's go story, let's gooooooo 🔥
thank you Jess!!
Beautiful. Rest in peace, Ryuichi Sakamoto 🙏
A true legend, never will be forgotten
I was just thinking about Mr. Sakamoto as I was watching this. He would’ve been proud to see his music being used in a beautiful way.
Perfection! Thank you Gawx. Really looking forward to rest of the videos from this series
thank you! looking forward to creating them
The huge amount of work behind those 2:41 min is honorable ! Perfectly color graded, liked it, very inspiring.
I’ve watched this more than once and it’s moved me to tears. I struggle with depression, and your videos are one of the few things that remind me the world is this beautiful, and genuinely makes me feel grateful to still be here. I often have that “I wish I wasn’t born” feeling, so seeing these makes realize all the incredible things I’d miss out on if I weren’t. Thank you 🙏💛
As an observer, it is an absolute perfect shots only my perspective is that, Place the object which is focused in the "middle" as I saw the main subject or the shot was slightly on the left or right. If you've done that intentionally I respect but as an observer it would create more impact on my eyes if subject was placed exactly at the middle.
And I want Montage made by you in Future!!!
I'm always in awe with your filming and editing, but I also have to say how amazing your music choices are. Keep up the good work Gawx
thank you so much. means a lot ot me! choosing the right music always is the hardest part haha
@@Gawx2Sooo true.
I love how he uses mostly static shots and still makes great videos every time.. these are so poetic! Lots to learn from
Hey Cox, you do not have to reply to this, but do you think you could do another how to draw like a pro video that would be a huge thanks have a good day
JESUS IS COMING BACK!!!
I’ve been feeling so weary in my heart. This was the reminder I needed, thank you ❤
Yes he is coming very very soon❤ and we all need to be aware of the fact ❤❤. Thank you so much for this. May God bless you
God damn Gawx. I travelled to Italy and (tried to) captured this beautiful country. Your work is beyond amazing and I'm excited to see where you will end up! Thanks for constantly inspiring.
thank you!! I'm sure your vids turned out great!
Amazing work again! Your channel is pure ART, sir! ❤❤
truly means a lot to me
Gawx, this is breathtaking! I am working on some short films too and every time I can‘t motivate myself to film I watch your videos and I am instantly motivated again! You inspire me and othe creators a lot. I know you get asked this question for a few years now haha but can you do a color grading tutorial?
Watching this after a long day feels like therapy
Amazing as always
thanks a lot!
Hlo please shift on x2hs camera make video on cintmanic shots
Just casually drops another cinematic masterpiece. Thank you Gawx for the amazing visuals once again!
That shot at 2:12 is like right out of a Kiarostami film. Amazing work as always. Yours are the only videos I can watch all the way through.
Kiarostami one of my biggest inspirations. Thank you for the lovely compliment
i wanna go on a hike with u just to film some vids when we reach the top of the mountain
Love that shot at 2:12 🥲 the blues with the cars red tail lights ! Too good
I'm curious how this shot is graded. How do you cast a blue hue across the image but preserve the color of the tail lights?
@@jbw6351 generally its probably blue hour or just made the shadows blue meanwhile boosting saturation and luminance into the reds and since the only red is the tail lights it shouldn’t be a problem.
@@PhreestyleNYC Nicee this is helpful
What’s the actual name of that town in that first shot- it’s so beautiful
Man, I've been addicted to watching your videos and your creativity ❤️
means a lot to me!!
There isnt really a viedeo thats describes europe more than this one
every frame feels like an art piece
i'm not 14 anymore but this is deep
gracias Daniel!! Lo aprecio mucho
The bird at 1:07 needs an oscar.
La sombra del camarógrafo 😅
Has visto Mirror de Andrei Tarkovsky?
I want to cry this was so good
You should start working for A24
Did you film this in 4:3 or did you convert the footage to 4:3 from 16:9?
1:57 dude this shot! How bro?! A tutorial pls!!!
💙🇧 🇪 🇦 🇺 🇹 🇮 🇫 🇺 🇱 🧡
Siempre se sienten tan breves los vídeos. Gran trabajo
too cold
and only one candle does not go out inside
Incredible, this is not videography, this is painting
It helps me fall in love with the world again. 🎀🎀
2:12 this shot is like a painting man wowwww
I hope u liked Liguria
Holy moly, what town is that (in the beginning and the end)? I've been to many beautiful places in Italy but this looks especially stunning!
I always thought Ryuichi Sakamoto’s music would fit with your cinematography❤️
This kid is the real thing! There’s a lot of people out there right now creating art that is OK. But this guy? WOW. And I say this after watching 2 minutes and 25 seconds of one of his videos. I really hope this guy gets into making bigger budget movies because he may be the savior that the movie industry needs. Again, I say this after watching two minutes and 25 seconds of the first video I’ve ever seen of his.
I wanna print the frame at 2:12 and put it on my wall, its amazing!!!!
this is fucking incredible.
"That was really good" - me, just now x
gotta like my own coment tbh after all, i made it
Absolutely magnificent Gawx!
What aspect ratio is this? Looks like 1.66:1
Youre incredible! Half of these look something out of a painting, absolutely love this
aww means a lot to me
Meraviglioso 🌻, de maravillas 🌻🌻. Wonderful! 🌠. Gracias. 🤗🌻🌠
nothing compares to the feeling of melancholy of returning from a trip in a beautiful country like Italy.
Am I right in assuming you’re using Dehancer or film convert? Seeing halation and compression on highlights. The aspect ratio choice is very nice!
Fantastic video! Thank you so much for giving an incredible inspiration without any words whatsoever at all! A true masterpiece! Thank you! I started my UA-cam channel three weeks ago. And you definitely inspired me to create a new video next week! It was very joyful and atmospheric to watch!
Bro, you videos are too fucking good. Im jealous like fuck, great job!
Bird @1:07 is a paid actor? Unreal timing.
Gorgeous work as always, incredibly inspiring.

I love your videos fr ❤🫂💫
Have you had the time to check out any new films? I watched "A sun" because of you- Was a crazy good film. Thanks for that rec!
The composition , the colors ... crazy
Hey Gawx! Since you're using the Sigma 30mm 1.4, are you cropping it in post or changed it directly in the FX3? Your shots were so good! Even with this body/lens combo, you're still showing the best quality possible of the camera. Superb video as always!
I'm very curious about your sound design process. How much of your sound is recorded on-sight vs. designed in the edit? I'm a big fan of your work! ❤
Cinque Terre 😍😍😍 what a lovely place! I made a video there too, that place is so inspiring. Your scenes and colour grading are incredible!
hi my fren! also! amazing vedio. thank. it reminds me when I was The Florence 16years ago! ❤️. Maybe you knew already this Artist “Saul Leiter” you shout check this out. love you
Gawx, you have been doing amazing work. Love from India! Btw is shooting in 10bit 422 and then color grade in capcut your usual process?
Wow.. Stunning shots! Truly inspiring.
1:56 just wow
Am I wrong or is it Matera? Wonderful storytelling as always, even without saying anything ❤️
Stunning work dude. Wondering what your best recommendations for clean night shots on SLOG3 are? Ive heard underexposing -.3 or down to -.7 to help retain details in the lights? Keep it up man, super inspiring stuff.
So you're using an APSC lens ? how is the crop working? you're not loosing too much detail ?
Yes! A bit of vignetting, I knew I wanted to do 4:3 so I had no problem cropping :)
thanks !@@Gawx2
do you think i can get a cool result with my sony A7r3 with the same lens ?@@Gawx2
Insane, i love how some frames even looks like paintings. The color grading does it justice
Amazing vid as always, and I LOVE your sound design.
One question; how do you deal with fog/smog when shooting and colour grading? I am a novice but just can't get around how gray/boring and dull it makes my shots look uninteresting?
Hey Gawx, do you have any recommendations on ND/Variable ND filters?
Are the vignetting in some shots from the Sigma 30mm since it is an APSC lens? These videos still amazes me, going back to every one of it!
Genial, Gawx. Tremendo lenguaje cinematográfico que manejas. Saludos.
😍
1:56 - I really love this shot, it's simple yet there is something eye catching about it. But I definitely can't choose only one fave, this video is a masterpiece as a whole. I like the overall vibe
That opening shot was so good.
I was wondering what you were going to do with the blue screen... little did I know, it was the sky.
0:10 , 0:33 , 0:56 are insane! And 2:11 might be the most surreal looking shot I've seen from you. Would love to see a gawx-esque drawing of 2:11 🫂
man you're the best! thank you for inspiring me! I recently started out and I'm learning a lot.
means a lot to me! keep it up!
Gracias Gawx Rikk Montoyas delaRosA R.!
Beautiful video and mood!
Do you edit raw in Premiere or w/ a LUT? And what do you export as to DaVinci?
Im trying to figure this part out.
You inspire me. Thank you. I love you. Love from Pakistan 🇵🇰 ❤
Gaux love from Kashmir..your vedio is the only one i saw in full quality ended my internet data on your vedio no regrets ....it wasn't deserving..
Love from Kashmir,Asia ,East
that one frame where the whole town is pale blue is the best frame/picture i have ever seen (i posted it for a background hahaha). I mosty like when you zoom in some object, it creates something similar to what you did with that frame. Keep on going ur amaziiiingg
You’re going to accomplish your dreams. It’s written. Just keep going ❤
Do you have someone film you when you're exploring? Or do you set your camera up and leave it to film yourself? I absolutely love your work so so so much.
Incredible as always! Have you listened to Casa by Sakamoto and Morelenbaum? It’s a Bossa album that he plays on and I figure it’s right up your alley!
Shot at 2:11 is insane !!!
how amazing
Im curious about the format you film in? It looks like open gate to me but i thought the fx3 does not support it? Another question would be are you happy with your sony cam? Do you miss things like shutter angle?
Great video as always! Your videos inspire me all the time.
