I liked everything on this show - Except the shit with her ancestors...
I did not care about this character and I did not care for this show, so I went in with very low expectations. I ended up liking it quite a bit. The action was cool, but it was the characters and their dynamics, as well as the story of Echo being caught between two worlds that I thought worked pretty well. Nothing extremely great but definitely not the dumpster fire I was anticipating a couple months ago haha. Great review! 👍

we live in a time where nothing can be just okay or even bad but fun. Its either the best thing ever made, or the worst thing created that killed your grandmother.
That is the most true statement I've ever heard. Not everything can be 10/10 or 1/10. Peoples expectations are just way to high. I didn't expect anything from this show which led me to enjoying it a bit. And brought interest to a character that I don't have much knowledge on which should be the point. I wish more people would watch these shows without setting the bar so high. Watching things to just enjoy them is how the mcu got to endgame. Good take man
It is bad though. The choreography don't make sense, the characters' choices are idiotic, and it poaches way more than it's worth from far superior stories like Daredevil (Netflix).
This is not my definition of an "okay" show. To me an "okay" show would be something like Monarch Legacy of Monsters or Invasion on Apple TV, or Bodies on Netflix, or Season 2 of The Wheel of Time on Amazon Prime.
Shows with strong moments that are severely undermined by a couple narrative choices while still being interesting the rest of the time.
Echo is far from being that kind of quality.
On the "bad but fun" angle, that's a non-argument since fun is subjective, sooo, I guess it's cool that you find it fun ? But that's irrelevant to the show itself and its quality.
This is a fine take too. I can definitely understand that the quality of the show is not the best. Like I said the show has flaws but to me had things that were still enjoyable to me. Others won't think the same and that's fine. Some prefer quality in the things they watch. But sometimes for me if a show is a little different or has things that to me show a little more uniqueness or even something I know nothing about and makes me more interested then I have a good time. If it makes me more interested and want to know more it does it's job.
And also not everything is going to be a 10/10 in quality. A lot of us as a fan base do is have high expectations. Yes it's the studios job to uphold that but having high expectations could come at a price sometimes and it'll happen. But your take is still a good and plausible one

People forget the not every marvel project was a 10/10 before endgame people like to act like everything was the greatest thing ever made but now it’s awful and bad but the echo show is a perfect example of marvel is still good I really liked the show although personally wasn’t a massive fan of the finale but all around it was very good
Yes that is absolutely correct. Not every project needs to be as good as like infinity war or something. We have to remember to just have fun with what we watch. Ik that marvel recently hasn't been doin so well on some projects but this here was a fine project.
Nah i think mcu always sucked aside from guardians of the galaxy and a few of the shows every thing is so mid

You see that's the problem. Never said things don't have to be good to enjoy it. Things just don't have to be perfect to be enjoyable. If you don't like marvel I can respect that. But to come at people for liking something you don't is an embarrassing stand to have. So I'll make it clearer. This show to me is good. It has flaws but still has good qualities and that's why I enjoy it. If you don't that's fine just don't bring that negative energy just because people have opinions. Good day to you
