Never mind the bat repair - the fact this guy has McGuvered a lathe out of a vice, few planks of wood and an old Ryobi drill is worth a sub alone!

Will last about 3 backfoot defensive shots against a quickish 1st grade bowler with a newish ball.

Sometimes, you simply fall in love with a particular bat that you have! And just don't want to give up. I have such a Bat with me which has the Balance and Punch literally created in Heavens!!! and i know that I can pay any price for that bats repair, if God forbid, it was to break from somewhere like this. !!

Wouldnt wooden dells help strengthen the wood instead of glue and a threads
I drilled 3 holes on side of the broken piece and put pieces of stick through them into holes drilled in bat and then threading

why do you put a new handle every time you repair a bat even if it is in good condition
Bottom of my bat is strached from left side so the bottom is uneven what can I do to repair it?
Saw off the toe if it's less than an inch, then rub down with sandpaper, some resin adhesive and a toe guard.

More threading at the cracked portion....so that piece of crack wood will stay tight and stay last....

I am not sure how many days it will last. Only glue and thread will not give this bat a long-lasting strength
It's better to play important matches with new Bat.
Because broken bats make edge sounds when you swing them forcefully.

If you used thread then u see it's too gud repair this piece coz I have 20 year's experience bat repairing.....

Actually the tape just separates the glue from the wooden blocks under the clamps. It's not there for compression.
@@JPGavanCricket i agree with you boss but you know very well this tape is not a gud n tight grip wood...if you don't mind 2nd time use thread n then see different...any stumps bail used with thread grip v gud n tightnes nd second i said you if u thread joint bat in back it's gud coz front joint not gud...
