Lina Palera on an ancient lyre and Jordan Koumartzis on an electric bass perform for us the song "Wave after Wave" (Greek: "Κύμα το κύμα"), composed by Giorgos Zikas and initially performed by Eleftheria Arvanitaki (on an album released in 1991).
This is a live recording that took place at the SEIKILO Museum of Ancient Music, and both the musical instruments were masterfully handcrafted by LUTHIEROS Workshop.

Να είστε καλά! Έρχονται κι άλλα όμορφα σύντομα!
Beautiful. very nice arrangement. I have seen many of your videos and they are getting better and better. Please, try just not to hard pan one instrument to the left while the other is hard to the right. It does not sound right. you need to soften the stereo.
Thank you Claude! We are constantly improving for the content that we create for SEIKILO UA-cam Channel and every single comment/tip is more than helpful!
@@SEIKILO You are welcome. But more important, I am extremely pleased that you value your instrument and your voice online. It is really beautiful, and opens people's mind to different music approach and brings back the majesty of ancient and forgotten instruments. My son got passionated with it as he saw your earlier work. As a result he just bought and received his first Lyre, and shares with me his progress as he tries to play some of the pieces he found on UA-cam. I think his dream is to come and visit you some day.
@@thefranglish3620 Thank you Claude! This message is really wonderful to read and meaningful for our efforts! You and your son are more than welcome at SEIKILO Museum in Thessaloniki where you will be able to listen and play the Kithara, the Phorminx and many more reconstructed musical instruments!
