It can happen to anyone. Especially if you're busy and you forget to check their profile. Once, I forgot to ask if there was any damage. Ask all the questions you want to! My husband picked up the piece. It was a total project piece. My husband paid too much for it. He didn't know any better. I Couldn't tell by the photos. I learned a lesson and I'll restore it. Not a total loss. But take time. Never pay up front. Don't buy from those "will ship" listings. Meet at a public place. Listen to your gut. If you feel something is not right, don't do it. So sorry you got scammed Brooke. It’s such a shame that we have to worry about out that happening. You found some great things. The copper bowl was a wonderful find. When I saw it , for some reason I immediately thought it went with a stand mixer. Enjoy your weekend. Fortunately not to mention morally I’m an honest person because more times than not buyers offer to pre pay me for my market place listings. Ironically, I myself never pre pay for listings I want to purchase.
