- In this video we are doing a review of the Flamingo Hotel and Casino in the center of the Las Vegas Strip. I booked the cheapest room and was able to get upgraded to a higher floor and better room with a great view doing the $20 trick. I'll give you a walkthrough tour of the property, show you a lot of activities. We'll cover the hotel room, casino, restaurants in the hotel such as Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville, where to get cheap alcohol and snack. I visited The Bird Bar, The Go Pool, The Flamingo Exhibit, I Love Sugar and the famous Linq Promenade. I also saw RuPaul's Drag Race Live! We'll wrap up the video with pros and cons, how good of a value the property is (Linq vs Flamingo) and what type of traveler it is ideal for.

My husband and I were at the Flamingo a couple of weeks ago. It was his 1st time in Vegas, my 3rd. We stayed at the Flamingo and he loved it. We toured most of the casinos on the Strip and he said the Flamingo had the best atmosphere of all the others.

I think I would, although I really don’t like hotels with the super thin walls. But I’d give it a try. Also, I DO love sugar 😂

This video has me convinced that Flamingo is the ultimate Vegas destination! The regret of missing out on such an iconic experience is real. Have any of you had a last-minute change of heart and ended up booking a spontaneous trip to Flamingo?
The check in process at Horseshoe is the same with 2 employees directing people to kiosks. There are only 8 kiosks at Horseshoe and 2 were broken. Not a fan of this new check in either but usually stay downtown or off strip.
I hope they stop using these kiosks, but probably will not :/
I checked into the flamingo in 10 minutes it was fine for me I hotel hopped in Vegas for 3 days 2 years ago after making $800 on doordash a couple weeks before (stayed at mandalay bay for a couple days too) a year before that I saw Vegas for the first time and stayed at Luxor/Strat ....the flamingo was so cheap too like $15+$25 resort fee my room was super cute for just $15 had pink shades a view of the ferris wheel thing from 25th floor and the pool was great here(2nd best pool Mandalay bay is the best that lazy river was my favorite)
@@michaelsuzio4268 I guess I just caught a busy time when checking in. I’m glad you enjoyed The Flamingo! Mandalay Bay I’ll be reviewing this Summer, wanted to wait until pool season. I stayed there over 10 years ago and it was fantastic!
@@Santeeno yeah I went early September a couple years ago it was still pretty warm a couple weeks before the NFL was starting regular season the first time I went was April about five months before that
@@Santeeno They won't it goes with he dilution of service and increase of fees… they are slowly pushing the check in times close and closer to 5pm, soon Cesar's will start changing the check out times closer and closer to 8 am.
All part of normalizing the early check in and late check out fees.
I for one won't be staying at a Caesars properties simply for those two data points.
Which hotel do you like better, flamingo or planet hollywood? Whats your overall fave hotel?
Planet Hollywood because of the rooms and the miracle mile mall being right there.
Kind of a toss up. I thought the rooms at Flamingo are better PH has a much nicer Casino. Pool at PH is basically on a concrete Parkade on the 3rd floor.
PH is a bit nicer. I like the huge windows at Flamingo vs. the small windows at PH though.
The last time I was in Vegas my family visited the tipsy robot in the miracle mile, have you been there?
I have been there and got a Long Island and it was strong!!
Do the cheapest rooms have a mini fridge? Doesnt say they do online
I’m not sure I’ve never stayed in them. Best to ask when checking in. Make sure to not do automated check in.

Heading to Flamingo in a few weeks, what’s their resort fees? Are there any other fees? Online shows resort fees and than $50 a night for incase of accidents? Someone please help!

Stay there last week and my room didn't look like that.. Mine was a dump no hot water ants in the room looks like 70,s

Considering that they didn't let me enter the pool area with my by the US government issued id, I regret going to this place. And no one tried to resolve the issue. I slept in better highway motels with better service than this trash hotel.

All you need to enter the pool is a room key sounds like you're full of it likely an 18 year old using a fake ID
