Street Giveaway or Street Koha in New Zealand

Sa New Zealand, mayroong isang kaugalian kung saan maaari kang mag-iwan ng mga bagay sa labas ng iyong bahay para sa mga taong nangangailangan. Ito ay tinatawag na "street giveaway" o "street koha" at ito ay isang paraan ng pagbibigay at pagtutulungan sa komunidad. Sa pamamagitan nito, ang mga tao ay maaaring mag-iwan ng mga bagay tulad ng damit, libro, laruan, o kahit mga kagamitan sa bahay na hindi na nila kailangan at iba pang mga tao ay maaaring kumuha nito nang libre.
Ang layunin ng street giveaway ay upang magbigay ng pagkakataon sa mga tao na magbahagi ng kanilang mga bagay sa mga nangangailangan nang hindi kailangang pumunta sa mga opisina ng donasyon o charity shop. Ito rin ay nagbibigay ng pagkakataon para sa mga taong nangangailangan na makakuha ng mga bagay na kailangan nila nang libre
Sa pamamagitan ng street giveaway, hindi lamang natutulungan ang mga taong nangangailangan ngunit nababawasan din ang dami ng mga bagay na nauuwi sa mga basurahan. Ito ay isang magandang halimbawa ng pagtutulungan at pagmamalasakit sa kapwa at sa kalikasan.
Sa bawat kanto, maaari mong makita ang mga kahon o mga lalagyan na may mga nakalagay na libreng mga bagay. Ito ay isang simpleng paraan ng pagbibigay at pagtulong na nagpapakita ng kung gaano kahalaga ang komunidad sa New Zealand
