I bought 14 plastic Itso cubes at Target eleven years ago. They are 13 3/8'' on the inside. They are very versatile as I can stack them however I want. Right now I have three wide and four tall for a hotel and two side-by-side for a small grocery. I can stick different wall coverings, flooring, or backdrops in them. I've been having a blast with them for over a decade.
That’s awesome! I just reclaimed the Itso cubes from my kid & repurposed them into doll rooms, securing them with zip ties from Dollar Tree. So far 4 high & 2 wide but you’ve given me idea to rearrange them 🤔😄
@@rhettthompson1722 You're gonna have so much fun with them. I've had apartments with bedroom, kitchen, and living room, and on the ground floor I've had a laundromat, a coffee shop, a tea room, a boutique. I just keep switching things out. I never get tired of their versatility.

Very cool rooms and affordable too! Oh, I had an idea: If you glue some dangly type beads/sparkly gems from the sides of the lights you put up... it could look like fancy chandeliers!
I don’t know which i like better these new box rooms or the foldable ones from a few months ago. Both are such fun and creative ideas. I wish that I would have had a resource like this when I was a kid. This would make a fun stem project for sure. ❤

Oh my goodness I remember watching that littlest pet shop video when it came out, I can’t believe I’ve been a fan for over 7 years now crazy lol 😅I remember i started crafting for my dolls when I was a junior in high school so actually I’ve been a fan even longer lol. In all seriousness, the wood dioramas you have been making have been spectacular and have helped encourage me to start working with wood for the first time and allowed me to upgrade a dollhouse I've been renovating because of it. This was the option that I was hoping for. I know wood costs more, but it's durable and is sturdy. I'll for sure give this a shot.

If you add a little cornstarch to that white paint it will be opaque. Works on color as well.

If you can mix a little corn starch into milky acrylic paint, it makes it much brighter and more opaque!
