Being a Pakistani myself who lived around the world. If I had to give a comparison after coming back a few months ago because of the Pandemic. Yes, things are not perfect when it comes to infrastructure but it's progressing towards Positive. The best part is the innocence, hospitality of the people, and raw beauty of the country especially when you go to villages or northern areas.
It's the people that create your experiences memorable and special. We have come a long way since 9//11 after so many sacrifices of the economy, army, and civilians. Pakistan is safe to travel especially for Women.

You guys should go visit Pakistan. Summer is a good time to go to northern areas and see mountains. Probably a 3 to 4 week trip. Rockies are nice but Pakistan is the roof of the world. Perhaps after this Covid stuff is over. You will experience hospitality we don't see here.
