My parents moved to pakistan and I attended school in Abbottabad while they lived in Pakistan and that why I’m familiar with the northern areas of Pakistan.
I would give anything to see Hunza. This region has been my obsessive dream for the last 5 years, and I’m almost to the point of blindly going without a plan. My only concern is that I would never want to return home. Such beautiful people, nature, culture, history, and music. Bless you for helping to open the world’s eyes to this special place. Thank you for showing the less romantic side of winter and the mountain life too. This took me on an emotional ride but so grateful your babies are safe and healthy after that brutal winter.

HI, after watching your video, I was prompted to write, that's not what I usually do. But this video had so many layers, from the beautiful mountains to surviving the gloomy winter. nights. Experiencing aloneness, and struggling without your better half, can be challenging. But your awareness of spending time with yourself, which is NOT easy for most people to do, as we run away from ourselves, but you had a certain awareness to embrace that loneliness. which is so beautiful in so many ways. You captured the beauty of that place magically. Justice was done to the place, and some of the shots were mesmerizing. I could feel emotions rising to see that footage. Thoroughly enjoyed the relationship you have with the animals. Here human beings are not well treated, as you treat the animals. I feel they go hand in hand, or more, a part of me feels animals are better than few humans. No offense to anyone, it's just my personal view. The unconditional love they give makes it worth the effort and they help you go through those rough days. I feel Adeel is a unique person, and seeing you both makes it seem that destiny had a huge role in getting you guys together. Who would have imagined, you would find a life partner in Pakistan, of all the places. Both deserve each other. and most importantly, you guys are nature lovers and it couldn't get more authentic. Sorry, the rest of India is different different to our Pakistan. In fact Ladakh is Kashmir and they don’t even want to be part of India, so… Also, only the south of Pakistan is Similar to Punjab India only. The rest of Pakistan is similar to Iran, Afghanistan, etc. I’m talking about the history, culture, ethnicities, languages, etc.

It's really tough living in mountains especially when you are coming from the city. the daring and most adventurous ones can do something like it. 99.9% of rest like me only prefer enjoying watching these documentaries on UA-cam. Really loved the local community, the girl football tournaments, the passion in the girls is great. They could really excell only if facilities and more opportunities are there. Loved this video. You really need to think ahead rose, try to create a eco system of grid life , if you have flowing water outside use a hydro motor to make electricity, solar panels, grow lots of trees for wood, if you go online use will find many way to do it, may Allah swt keep you all safe🇧🇩🇬🇧🙏 read and contemplate on the Quran inshallah you'll find a way🙏🤗😘

If I were you, I would have never lived in a house with concrete walls in the Northern Area -- these insulation-free walls are as cold as a refrigerator in the winter and like a heater in the summer -- meaning very cold in the winter and too hot in summer as there is no insulation in between - so the ideal is mud, mud can be used as an ideal material in northern area --- which is hot in winter and stay cold in summer--- well, another suggestion is that in these rooms made of concreat walls while burning wood, if one also heatup stones and sand on an indoor fireplace, naturally those have the ability to store the heat for a longer time, so the room will stay warm for a longer comparatively with less energy. you may conserve the heat better by storing heat in the same room in different forms.
yup, if I had it my way, I would've done many things differently, unfortunately, our options are limited, and we try to make it work. Yes, mud is ideal, but most traditional homes have no kitchen, no light, and have many issues. Our ideal scenario would be to build our own home one day, and yes, from Mud. But we couldn't even find land. For now, our stuff stays packed away in storage now with no known time of returning :(

Hey Rosie, why don’t you start your own tourist business, such as a travel agency to help foreigners around northern areas, or a hotel. Believe me it can change your life not only financially but can also keep you busy, it will help you coup with stress.

The mountains really have magic. I grew up in murree, at the cjm boarding school. I am originally from Lahore but hate the suffocating culture-the mountains always call me. I am now in Chicago and some parts remind me of the mountains I have left behind. However, we are doing the our own adventures here- road tripping the USA! Seems like you found a good man! Sorry, the rest of India is different different to our Pakistan. In fact Ladakh is Kashmir and they don’t even want to be part of India, so… Also, only the south of Pakistan is Similar to Punjab India only. The rest of Pakistan is similar to Iran, Afghanistan, etc. I’m talking about the history, culture, ethnicities, languages, etc.

Beautiful place, great couple and an amazing documentary. It's really tough living in mountains especially when you are coming from the city. the daring and most adventurous ones can do something like it. 99.9% of rest like me only prefer enjoying watching these documentaries on UA-cam. Really loved the local community, the girl football tournaments, the passion in the girls is great. They could really excell only if facilities and more opportunities are there. Loved this video. You really need to think ahead rose, try to create a eco system of grid life , if you have flowing water outside use a hydro motor to make electricity, solar panels, grow lots of trees for wood, if you go online use will find many way to do it, may Allah swt keep you all safe🇧🇩🇬🇧🙏 read and contemplate on the Quran inshallah you'll find a way🙏🤗😘

If I were you, I would have never lived in a house with concrete walls in the Northern Area -- these insulation-free walls are as cold as a refrigerator in the winter and like a heater in the summer -- meaning very cold in the winter and too hot in summer as there is no insulation in between - so the ideal is mud, mud can be used as an ideal material in northern area --- which is hot in winter and stay cold in summer---
well, another suggestion is that in these rooms made of concreat walls while burning wood, if one also heatup stones and sand on an indoor fireplace, naturally those have the ability to store the heat for a longer time, so the room will stay warm for a longer comparatively with less energy. you may conserve the heat better by storing heat in the same room in different forms.
yup, if I had it my way, I would've done many things differently, unfortunately, our options are limited, and we try to make it work. Yes, mud is ideal, but most traditional homes have no kitchen, no light, and have many issues. Our ideal scenario would be to build our own home one day, and yes, from Mud. But we couldn't even find land. For now, our stuff stays packed away in storage now with no known time of returning :(

Hello. Came across this channel by mistake. Enjoyed your storytelling. I spent long time in Gilgit years ago. Had gone all the way to Baltit fort. I loved Hunza, the landscape and mostly the kindness and genuine nature of the people.
Hey Rosie, why don’t you start your own tourist business, such as a travel agency to help foreigners around northern areas, or a hotel. Believe me it can change your life not only financially but can also keep you busy, it will help you coup with stress.

yes it was so scary what happened to winston. Hence why I left them in Canada after this... you'll see in Part two. It breaks my heart to be away from them,but its whats best right now, and hopefully not much longer.

The mountains really have magic. I grew up in murree, at the cjm boarding school. I am originally from Lahore but hate the suffocating culture-the mountains always call me. I am now in Chicago and some parts remind me of the mountains I have left behind. However, we are doing the our own adventures here- road tripping the USA!
