I love how he addressed the lady from France. That was a masterclass in cultural sensitivity. For those of you who don't speak French, he explained to her that he appreciates, enjoys, and respects French culture very much and, so, couldn't play an Englishman on stage. He also apologized to her in a funny, but genuine, way for using what amounts to a caricature of her culture. And he did it all in her mothertongue. You can tell he speaks primarily English in his daily life, but he was speaking perfectly understandable Continental French. I say he taught a masterclass there because while the French aren't typically discriminated against, that lady was far from home and is about to watch an American comedy performer don a cringy and overdone stereotype of her own culture. Instead of just going ahead with it he explains that he loves French culture while proving it, as he's put the time in to learn the language, gets a laugh with the equivalent of saying "I'm...I'm sorry about *all* of this!" and then got back on stage and made a fantastic joke in English about the show being over because a French person is here! That warmed my heart. In a short video he recently posted on his Instagram he said that he's cognizant of what a person who looks like him using a whip can evoke for people, and he tries to subtly indicate that everyone is welcome at his shows. That short conversation shows he walks his talk, and not subtly either!
@@aurorafauna4195Nah if someone takes their kid to a show labeled PG-13 and the performer busts out into Get Low without censoring it that is 100% on them.
8 billion people, no one should breed. No one needs to be taking their kids to movied. I saw a kid at Underworld Rise of the Lycans, Deadpool....@@flowerfaerie8931
Well, he did confess he's not really french 😢😂 Also I was surprised as well but since I speak French I could understand him. He has very strong accent so it was easy 😊

Watching him suddenly realize that he can’t do “Get Low” around kids is PRICELESS.
Parents are responsible. They probably hear worse at home
Man, I hadn’t even thought of that song forever. I never knew the name of the song.
