I like how the creator of the series picks real things about witches to pay homage to actual witches and I'm mixes it in with the fantasy type of witches. Like for example he doesn't use the term witch's cat he calls them by the name that actual witches called their pets familiars in the manga. I'll tell you what though if you really want to see Eva Beatrice the way she was supposed to be seen read the Manga. She comes off as less evil in the anime version.
