  • The Pelican Bass Raider is done with the shop and I need to disassemble it and get it through a doorway, down stairs, and outside. It gets temporary wheels and I assemble and install the Bimini top. All this on Solar Eclipse day. I'm just 50 miles from totality.

Dan & Joyce … Another excellent video; can’t wait to see your puddle jumper on a pond and you catching fish!!! As I have told you before, I love your bib overalls!!! From about October through April, they are my standard uniform of the day. If I lived in Maine, they would be my go to uniform 9-10 of 12 months. In Texas, the late spring, summer, and most fall are so oppressively hot that I wear jeans and t-shirts until the temperatures moderate in late fall. I retired and subsequently tossed my suit and tie when I fully retired. As far as our differences, you may be from Maine, I may be from Texas, but we both bleed American red, white, and blue!!! I am truly looking forward to seeing you fishing from the finished rig!!! I continue to thoroughly enjoy your videos!!! Until your next one and beyond, I wish you and Joyce happy trails, best wishes, true safety, God’s peace and God’s blessings!!! Chuck Knight from Atascocita, Texas. 😵‍💫😉👨‍🌾

Yes. It simply was a huge change in how I dealt with power. BTW.. If you're charging from the tow vehicle while underway, look into the possible issues doing that. Often standard alternators can't deal with the charge demands of lithium units and the alternator can burn out. People often either upgraded the alternator or use a DC to DC charger between them which protects the alternator. Since I had a big enough battery and our needs were meager, and I had alternative charging options, I disconnected that pin on the truck connector. Thnx for the comment.

@@CraftsmanontheLake Hi, thanks for letting me know about the alternator issue. I had run across that somewhere before. I don't go on long trips and use solar & or generator so I don't feel a need for charging while towing so I disconnected that line on the trailer. I did have to change out my converter/charger unit to one that is set up for lithium. Thanks again
