Something tells me you're a man of culture! Join the dark side and play Toxrill with maha and a few of those locks! No more creatures for them plenty for us, thro in a dictate of Erebos ( i think) and watch the double sac triggers 😅, thank you for the content you bring, i get inspired alot by these
I think me favorite thing about Ygra is that they go infinite with the new squirrel legend, and with experimental confectioner, as long as you have a way to sacrifice either a creature or an artifact.
@@Bathios13579 I have a Greta and didn't even know I could go infinite with that til the day before I play her and it got showed to me... I was going for the synergy lol
It's like MLD or hard stax. If you can win quickly after establishing the lock, fine. But the key word in that is QUICKLY, don't trap people in a game while you durdle into drawing Approach of the Second Sun as your only wincon or something.
I also am not a big fan of these combos in casual games, but I also think people need to get better about scooping when they see them. If an opponent has got you in a loop or a lock that will make the rest of the game miserable to play out as you topdeck for an out, just give them the win and play a new game. Never give control players the long drawn out torture games they crave.
@@justinkopy3354 I agree but when I find those kinds of players, I choose to not sit down with them in the first place. I care more about having fun than winning and everyone that sits down with me wants to play again :) That should be the goal
@justinkopy3354 the worst thing is when they get mad because you scoop as soon as they set up their combo. Also i dont think anyone's commander should ever be one of a two card combo piece for locking someone out. Its dumb imo
@@blaze556922if you don’t like combos I understand this mindset, but if those are acceptable in your playgroups in any fashion what is different about a lock? Someone is going to win and I’d much rather have someone literally disable my lands so I can scoop than do the millionth dockside or Krenko combo I’ve seen.

another softlock with her, is making them discard their hand, as they can't remove her naturally.
Really excited for Ygra. Would love to see what list you come up with!
This looks pretty fun. My personal favorite way of locking down the board is Urborg + Kormus Bell + Drana and Linvala.
Ygra is sick, i made a squirrel mutual sac deck that makes it huge for a free commander one shot
drop the list!
I played Ygra against a squirrel sac deck and they decided to make my Ygra get 500+ counters when I went to nuke the field for the lols
Dude, Chris build them both! Maha Chains and Ygra Cauldron Familiar (there MUST be something there…)
Id love to see a Ygra eater of all deck
Would love to see you build a Maha !

Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite and maha was a day one add soon as i got the maha card works great but i like this better its a cheaper mana coast
I just took my Kaerevek deck apart because the new bird. People will now kill either immediately because the new potential
good, people should be aware of locks!
how is maha only 5 cmc, crazy
It does seem very good doesn’t it
Tree of Perdition is good with him too no?
Maha doesn’t change the toughness of YOUR creatures just opponents!
@@CommanderMechanic darn :(
Maha + MKM Massacre Girl
definitely belongs in the 99
I want to see ygra, preferably not hard lock tho. I'm a bolas but not that kind of bolas lol
ya there's a lot Ygra can do that's nasty short of locking the board too - it's a mean commander!

Maha
Ygra
Yea
No one should be locking the game down at any point for any reason. You don't need friends like that. No one does
