I loved the masking tape washi tape (my Finnabair sets are among my favorite stamps). I have reached "critical mass" and have started using what I have to make cards and an occasional journal page. Currently I am working on bookmarks and tags, and trying to find my formula to avoid a muddied mess of inking and stamping, LOL.

I chose to stop buying image stamps last year. I focused on a few sentiment sets, proper cardstock (100 lb), and Archival ink in basic colors. Then I decided to use only what I have: that got me creating again.

When I saw that stack of rubber stamps I thought, “OMG, she’s just like me!” (mine isn’t that tall...yet!) 😂 I really appreciate your encouragement to use what I have in my stash (you did it in the last video I just watched of yours, as well). I’m definitely going to try some of the techniques here (I already have my own for making washi tape), especially the first one with the vellum, and put them together into journal page... just as soon as I finish my first Finnabair mould 3-D project! Thans you for your inspirational ideas. I like them all😄 Stamping the masking tape and then embossing is just amazing, so much possibilities. I have one question: if i protect the page like you did with gesso, Distress inks do not seem to stick, i heard you say it also in the video. What can be used instead of gesso that works better? Thank you so much for your video’s🦋

The final project is amazing, and I love the techniques you use, I must try it out 😍 But I don't think the flower stamp is from My Favorite Things - it looks so different 🙈
