I love how adventurous (of Link) this sounds! I especially love the tiny flair of the Zelda theme at 1:31.

This rendition sounds wonderful! It gives me Rito Village (BotW/TotK) vibes, which fits with my headcanon that the bird-like warriors are Rito relatives (like the armored Zolas are Zora derivatives) and this is the last bastion of their civilization, and their temple Link is intruding on.

Just finished this game a few days ago. It was… an interesting experience. Anyone who thinks Death Mountain is the hardest part of the game has clearly never played that much of the game because dear god some of the end game enemies are brutal.
Great track for a great game. As hard to get into as it may be for most people, I love Zelda II, and I’m very happy to hear such a great remaster of one of the best final dungeon themes. Nothing hits harder than finally making it here and outlasting its challenges.

I LOVE this, you managed to capture the fantastic vibe of this whole theme. It is difficult enough to get to the great palace and this sounds just how it feels to reach it
I love both versions from you and 2nd Narrator's. You are composing the best reimaginings of Zelda II OST as far as I can hear in youtube. His versions are more of profound remake and longer, while you create a 1:1 faithful but gorgeous remastered versions of the original NES. I went looking for an orchestral rendition of the Temple theme, found yours and then see you brought this out a day later. Perfect.
I was playing the Enhanced PC version of Zelda 2 and reached the great palace for the first time. I enjoyed the music and so I looked it up for a while. This coincidentally came out at the same time I was addicted to the game, haha.
Same. I played the original Zelda II before but the remake is so much better. This remix came just in time. It's as if Evelyn knew everyone was playing it!

I know the Temple theme is the one everyone knows from Smash, but this is one of my favourite pieces from Zelda 2, and you've done such a great job emphasising the sense of mystery it has. Great job!
Makes me wish that they would remake Zelda 2 in a detailed, 2.5D style almost like Metroid Dread. Like, imagine the vast, detailed backgrounds and foregrounds, the cinematic cutscenes for each boss, it would be so beautiful!

After playing the PC version of Zelda 2, I fell in love with this theme!
It's great; it's accessibility really helped me reach the great palace for the first time ever haha. Then this music coincidentally pops up while I'm addicted to the game.
I might play the second quest, I hear there's additional unique content in the 2nd quest 👀
@@Cameo221 Yeah, I don't really like how you have to do the entire game over again just to access new endgame content. I chose to access the randomizer for that, because then you can just set all the Exp. and many items to already be in your inventory.
this is wonderful. you should really look into the four swords soundtrack (the original four swords, not adventures) because it has some real hidden gems that would sound amazing reorchestrated.
I remember walking towards the Great Palace entrance and I first heard this track... I got frightened because I knew sh*s gonna get real here... and that damn massive squid...omg
