would it be very expensive to import on your own? We regularly import some classic cars from USA, yes there's tariffs (way before Trump lol) but if the car is broken etc it's not that much, for a new car I assume it would be quite significant...

@@lechprotean USA does not allow any imports for the first 25 years of a cars life. We only allow classic imports (currently cars made in year 1999 or older), and even for those, they have to be modified to comply with emissions of the particular state that it's being imported into, which costs a tremendous amount of money or is impossible altogether.
This is the comment I came to make. Instead, we will get the M5 Wagon that has the gravitational mass of Jupiter and will cost $150K+. Then BMW will say that wagons do not sell in the USA.

Yep while most brands jump on the EV bandwagon, BMW still offers both and without abandoning one over the other. Don't forget manual gear box.
As a base G80 M3 owner in the US, I am so disappointed that BMW does not sell this car here. I am willing to pay 120k USD for a car like this (non-CS, even). I'd rather pay that price for this car than an M5 Touring (which starts around 120k, I believe). It would be the last new car I buy, frankly. BMW M in Munich, are you listening?! People here in the US would pay so much money for this, and I'm certain it would cover whatever homologation costs necessary to get this car ready for US roads with a good profit margin!
They are giving the wagon another shot with the M5 Touring. If the M5 Touring sells very well then there is a good possibility of them bringing the M3 Touring over.
It makes no sense, wagons don’t sell well at all in the U.S. it doesn’t matter how much demand there is for the M version the base version needs to sell enough to even make it worth re doing all the crash testing and making the car us compliant.

Fantastic looking car. But I feel BMW have short changed us a bit. (1) No carbon roof and (2) no design change for the rear lights. You have these lights on 3 series standard diesel touring. I feel like they could have done with a refresh like the M4 CS. But what a car i love it.❤
I know carbon roof is an option anyway but for me I prefer the practicality of a normal roof anyway..
Carbon roof is not an option. I have spec my own M3 Touring non CS just comp No sun roof and no carbon roof is 100% not a option. On a CS it wouldn't be a option. It Would be standard as the M3 saloon Cs has carbon roof.
@@Bucky-k5ysomebody retrofitted a carbon roof on a touring, so its truly possible!!
@BreImMcoupe Yes, you are right. Evolve has done it, so I'm fully aware it can be done. But to be honest, if I spend 120k, I don't want to be spending 5k on something that BMW should have made as standard on there CS.
It looks good but it’s a bit pointless though. Maybe £6k worth of mods and no cf roof. It just makes no sense

Geiles Fahrzeug. Ich liebe meinen M3 Touring in Verde British. Das beste Auto, was ich bisher hatte. Aber so einen cs Grill werd ich mir auch einbauen lassen.

The fact you wait a minute to take a rear or rear 3/4 shot shows you're a little conflicted/don't want to annoy purists that would say "you can't have a pure light weight with extra booty". Cool! But. The yellow DRLs are a nice resemblance to GT racing - but they also remind me that the non-circular shape of the facelifted models headlights really lost an iconic BMW design element. In the dark you don't see that it's a BMW coming up behind you anymore and it used to be easy. (I guess that's why they're introducing the illuminated grille on more and more series ...)

is das ein rally fahrzeug oder warum ist der so verdammt hoch?
Als grosse BMW M Fan habe ich keine Freude mehr an M‘s mit Automatik Getriebe, es macht einfach kein Spass mehr, baut doch wieder Schaltgetriebe in diese Sport Autos, es ist doch für die meisten egal ob es 300PS hat oder 500PS hat, ob es 3,5 Sekunden braucht oder 5,5 Sekunden, man sucht die Freude von früher aber es ist nicht mehr da. Früher mit M3 E36/E46 M5 E39 hatte ich so viel Freude aber dann war es vorbei mit Schaltgetriebe, jetzt wie die Amerikaner nur noch Automat Getriebe? Dazu kommt noch die Touring, warum?? Jetzt besitze ich ein BMW M5 F90 Competition Wunderschönes Auto, für mich hat er das Schönste BMW Linie nach BMW 850 E31 aber die Automatik Getriebe nimmt mir die Freude weg aber soll man machen, so ist das Halt heute.
