I can confirm that this is in fact real, as I emerged from Calais not knowing how many thousands had flocked there.

The slip road to get to Calais in the beginning of the video is always blocked, even though you can travel just 2 minutes, to the Euro Tunnel, do a turn around via the slip roads and the bridge, head back to Calais and beat everyone there, avoids your PC becoming a sauna heater.
But I kinda love getting stuck in the traffic on tmp loool

Don’t let people know that this is a possibility or more players will use it

I was once at Calais because i needed to get to england to deliver some under pression containers or some shit, thing was large. Lets just say my ears were bleeding, but atleast when i got to england i relaxed for a bit in the parking lot xD its a disaster over there man, my pc wanted to kill itself and maybe take me with it :D

0:24 Trucks seem to be loading late. You can fix this in TruckersMP's graphics settings (draw distance).
If I had a 3060 Ti, I would put it on the "Medium" setting.

@@4Jannick4 Wenn du Tab drückst um die Spielerliste anzuzeigen gibt es dort ein kleines Optionsmenü, einfach rechtsklicken und das Menü auswählen und dann sollte es dafür eine Option geben

My man's bought a 1000 pound PC and a professional wheel to play ets2, mate, I got a 7 year old lenovo idea pad, on basically minimum graphics, running at a smooth: you guessed it 30fps with no cars and 10 when trucks are nearby, I just got kicked by an admin "for having too high ping" like BREH

I often go past everyone to the left and go the next intersection (at eurotunnel) and then I go back to the Calias intersection but on this side there’s no quene.

And them there is always this ONE idiot mod who thinks you are blocking the road and kicks you for blocking, although it even isn't you and then u have to do the same thing again and again. This happened me 8x in a row •_•

The difference between PC and Laptop is huge, with a 3070, everything on max except mirrors that are on medium and resolution 1080p 200%, i barelly get 20fps in calais..
i have 1050Ti, 10 year old intel CPU, and in calais i have 14FPS (100 players)
what happen in Calais? im "a bit new" in truckersmp but most of the time i dont see that kind of traffic lol.
For some unknown reason most people drive from Duisburg to Calais or from Calais to Duisburg and there is A LOT of traffic there.
@@N1ckZ The reason is because most of the first TruckersMP "Idiots on the road" and funny moments videos from Tony 747 took place on that road, and people just kinda started going there because they wanted to be in the videos.

Check is using your graphics card, maybe it is using the Intel graphics

The regular headlights are enough to fully illuminate the cab of the truck in front of you at close range (which is definitely the case in a traffic jam) - even if there is a trailer on the truck in between. It's even worse with active high beam headlights! Do you know how annoying it is when a player deliberately shines a floodlight on your cab?
And as a TMP moderator, I'm even more opposed to players in the opposite lane being intentionally blinded due to your high beams.
Oh man, you just reminded me of the one time I got a Volvo FH, put the grill protection thing, that itself looks like a grill (I don't know what it's called) and put as many lights on that truck as possible. It was the most fun I've ever had in the game, flashing the billion lights behind annoying players. Actually, the most fun thing was the one time where I had a TRIPLE trailer and at the train passage, on the road to Calais, I purposely trapped a reckless player, on the train tracks. I was hoping the train would push him far away, but the train stopped before hitting him. I was disappointed, so I stopped in a position where his truck got hit by the closing gate and fell below the map. Everyone was incredibly happy. It was the most satisfying thing ever. I almost died from laughing.
Now that I know you are a moderator, if I were to meet you, I would definitely get that Volvo and turn on the high beams. Maybe this would help you and the other useless and/or completely unfair moderators see better.

If anyone visits you at home, would you allow them to break your own rules? No, you would kick him/her out of your apartment. In principle it's the same.

i get 20fps in calais 🤣 and i got banned for 3weeks cuz i was in the car and i kept getting rammed into and a guy was stopped in the middle of a turn in the centre of calais and i want off-road to go past the guy and i got kicked and banned 😭

You have to Drive the Road from Duisburg to Calais, theres a Lot of Traffic at Primetime
You drive there only at your own risk, besides you need to have a lot of money for repairs XD
