This will be my guide in my 1st trip to Taiping. So many good looking food in there. The Lai Fun Noodles Soup looks exquisite! And the Prawn Mee and Char Kuay Kak look good and honest. All priced as what hawker food should be these days. Must try.
You're welcome! Traditional markets are one of my favorite places to explore, and I'm glad to have shared my experience with others. I hope you get to visit one soon and have an amazing time!
Thank you for your kind words! I usually spend a lot of time exploring different areas and asking locals for recommendations. I love discovering these hidden gems and sharing them with my viewers. I'm glad you enjoyed the video and appreciate your support!

Hello food hunter . Firstly I want to congratulate you on a first class video !! The first thing that impressed me was in , your opening section of your video was a, big massive tree .. so beautiful man . Also as I watched the video I noticed around this market has big trees . Loved it . As for the food oh man where do I start .. I love the vada and the tosai . But what I loved most was the vegetarian food stall . Personally I could eat that food all day and everyday . Prawn mee looked delicious as well . Once again I thank you .
Thank you for taking the time to watch my video and leave such a thoughtful comment! The vada and tosai are definitely some of my favorite dishes as well, and I'm glad you enjoyed them. The prawn mee is also a must-try if you ever get the chance to visit the market. Thanks again for your support!
@@FoodHunter a month and a half before I land in Penang . If I can I will go to Taiping for two days .. I love the food anyway . But I also like to see all those trees😂. Especially in lake gardens . Will keep you updated.
@@RaviSingh-cr9mo Oops, my bad! I should have gone to Taiping for the shoot earlier, haha! Yes, besides the delicious food, Taiping also has many beautiful trees and scenic spots worth visiting. Thank you for your comment.

I've never been to Taiping in my life and won't after watching this video. The stalls look unappealing, especially the prawn noodle stall. Sure lausai after eating. The Asam + Curry Laksa looks gross. Sorry, I will just drive straight to Penang.
That prawn mee is one of the best I've ever eaten. The soup is so damn good, radish cake is good too. The laifun , i can eat everyday everytime i visit. It is that amazing. The rest are so so. There are alot more good ones not filmed
Penang has hygiene issue on nasi kandar , the famous Assam laksa located next door of rubbish bins near kek lor si temple + most of the famous food in the pasar 777 road . Erm, I think u r not the food hunter, better eat at home. 😅 Eat safe without worry.

From Taiping to Pokok Assam only 3 KM
So cheap, vadai my favourite, 😋👍
Thank you 😊
Wow! Love the coverage and imagery. Btw, what camera do you record this with?
😋😋👏👏👍👍😘😘

菜头粿aka chai tow kwey is RADISH cake......not Turnip.......Turnip is called 芜菁、芒光、used in making笋粿

Unfortunately, plastics bowl were used generally in most of the noodles stalls that can release cancer causing agent when hot soap were filled.
Can you advise what day you taken this video?
Weekend
Nahhh… i dont consider this type of market ‘traditional’ or even ‘nostalgia’ LoL
@0:16 wrong spelling in Tamil for vegetable, it should be காய்கறி, don't know which mangkok wrote that 😂😂😂😂😂
