Even though the stripes didn't quite work out, she's still cute. Making stuff on a time crunch is always hard! I swear it invites bad luck. XD
She is delightful! Tip for nixing the stretch in the fabric for the next time you want to use that stripe vertically- Fuse some woven interfacing to the wrong side. it should hold the fabric stable. I also ran into doll issues last week. I had two dolls that had to arrive on Saturday. I worked till late at night to get each done. A dress design just didn't work and I spent too much time trying to figure it out. Then I was notified that a beloved professor had passed away and I felt that I needed to attend the wake. I rushed out and back, finished the dolls, packed them, got them in the mail, and paid for overnight shipping. Ahhh. Mission accomplished. This morning I received a photo of a disappointed little girl sitting in her birthday hat. The package never arrived. it is delayed until tomorrow. I guess we'll just have to blame the moon and the stars for the disruption and delays of the past few days. We did everything right. Carry on. Be well, Jo. Thanks for these wonderful vids.
