"Why did she order a large?" First of all only two things were a large the rest 3, 4 or 5x whatever was the biggest. They sent the wrong size for the 1st shirt. Lastly - I order according to the measurements.

When you order online, it’s best to order a size up because a lot of the time they get these clothing from India or China and their sizes are different

No, why would you buy a large is the real question. I’m 6’1 and a size 7-8 and I would NEVER buy a large especially a China based store. Either way loved your personality

Exactly.. I brought a top in a 2x a bodysuit 1x and it fit was extremely surprised as the quality was decent yet to wear them so I can put my life on their items. Typical Chinese sites have to size up wherein I never really did as I am a struggling 14-16 or sometimes 18
I think she went by their measurements and looked at what they said the model was wearing
I bought a 2X plastic suit that shipped from China and it was waaay too small lolol split the pants the first day. I guess I should have gone with a 5x now I know 😂🤣😂🤣

I knew something was wrong when I watched a few plus size youtubers make videos saying shein reached out to them to try their clothes and they all had on the same few items. I now know it's because they were the only items that fit lol. A mess.

Those clothes have the exact same size tags as the clothes from Wish. I don't know what those fabrics are, but they feel flammable and it's a risk leaving the house in them because they could disintegrate at any moment. I wonder if the companies are connected. You look so cute though! The glasses are adorable on you.

I am sorry about your experience, but I always order from Shein and I love it! I found so many cute pieces there for super cheap! You just have to look at the reviews and read comments. If there are no photos, I usually don’t buy it. Plus it’s important to check your size measurements for each item! My size is usually Small but on Shein I often order Medium to Large and it fits well :)
I haven't laughed this hard in over a week! Between your laugh and the "quality" of the items I was rolling over with laughter. Needless to say Shien is a huge She-OUT for me. Thanks for the review and keep that positive disposition. I love it!

Hahahaha...I feel your frustration. I ordered from Shein once, on the advice of a fashion You Tuber, and when the clothes arrived the fabric was so awful I felt uncomfortable letting it touch my skin. One item actually felt like it was made from some kind of recycled paper. As someone posted below, the fabric felt flammable....Yikes! Never again! By the way, I love your channel!

Fit is everything isn't it? Fast fashion in general is problematic for many reasons least of which is around the cheapness of the products they are cheap because of the ethical issues attendant. Near to slave labor and then the fact that so much of the items end up in landfills. I wish some of you POC vloggers would speak to these issues. So far...crickets.

I've generally ordered oversized items (like kimonos and dresses) and they fit. It definitely can be hit or miss. For you apparently its been a miss. I do love their accessories also. I got some cute glasses and earrings from there. But I feel the same way about Thred Up. Not that their items are garbage but I've never seen anything worth ordering. Oh well everything ain't for everybody! xo

On the site they list all measurements of the size of what you are buying. Also I would suggest reading what the material is made from. Like the first shirt was made from a thin, non-stretch fabric so you probably should not have pulled on it like you did.

i shop there a lot and im a size 0XL-2XL depending on the style of the clothing and ive been blown away by how amazing the quality & style they have. i guess they’re not really for people over the size of 5XL because honestly thats like 3/4XL for western people. There’s actually genuinely good stuff there if you search well enough and read the measurements correctly and also read the reviews. I rarely buy clothing that doesn’t have a review except when they’re really pretty and I really wanted it, even then the clothing came out really awesome. Depends on someone’s luck, I guess.
You have to check the size guide because I’m a size 0-2XL in plus size women and I am 13…
My waist size is 32-35 inches, it’s from China, meaning there sizes are different.

Make sure you check your size out for each item you buy. A 5X is not the same on every article.....check the bust size for each item. Also, I find the reviews with pictures are a great help.

I am with you. I shop at Zara, H&M and Macy's and I get QUALITY clothes for very reasonable prices. I only shop at Zara twice a year. I don't like to waste my money on websites like that. There is regular clothing for a regular sizing and then there is SHEIN curve for big women / plus size .

I placed one order and it was a mixed bag but I did get one top I really loved. The sizes vary. I wear an L or XL in tops but even a 4XL was too small for one top. I pay using Paypal so I had no problems getting refunded on my return. I won't shop there again though
