I read english test is required for visa 485. If you hold IELTS test certificate taken overseas in November 2018 for student visa application, will or is the certificate still valid for visa 485 application? I need clarification on this guys.

He has 10 years of international experience and just relocated to Australia on a subclass 500 student dependent visa. He was offered a position as an electrical engineer in the big GFG (SIEMEC) mining industry in remote South Australia's Whyalla. His profession is included on the DAMA, skill shortage, and MLTSSL lists. Can we request sponsorship from the employer? Is there any advice on how to approach an employer about sponsoring?

Yes IELTS are only valid 3 years for 485

No age limit for the 482, but for the 186 it is 45 for most occupations
