This was very informative! As a vet tech, I love this, but if I had a hole punched through my skull I don’t think I’d want anybody on my back the next day. Yes, you can go back to riding the next day, but it’s not necessary. Give the horse a break, at least a week to recuperate!
I bet that horse is feeling so much better after relieving that pressure! I have had sinus infections to the point I had to have surgery and the relief was immediately noticed. You explain everything so clearly even me who knows nothing about anything medical for animals or humans made it easy to understand! Thank you for helping all the animals you do!
I really appreciate this doctor. He is clear and concise about what he’s doing, and is very gentle with the horse.
I feel her pain! She is so patient, and you are so gentle! Great job, Dr! Thank you for sharing! You are a fantastic teacher!
Thank you for so clearly showing and explaining the connection between tooth roots and sinuses and infection.
Wow!! I am just amazed. You care for these horses so well and your teaching is just wonderful. Even for a layperson like me who knows nothing about veterinary science or horses…you explain it so I know what is going on. Thank you so much!!
Doc you are one very clever & compassionate man. I can't get over how relaxed the horse is (I've noticed this in your other videos), whereas I've seen the exact opposite in videos on other channels. I wish my Dr took as much care of me as you do with your horses.

As a patient with sinusitis problems I may admit that this is EXACTLY what you'd love someone to be doing to you :)
That is a very well behaved horse, she probably knows you're here to help
Can’t believe these horses are so patient, and great job from the vet!!
That poor baby, You can tell that even though it’s getting better, it still feels miserable. It has that look on its face like a little kid does when they are ill.
Sweet horse❤️❤️❤️. I applaud all Vets who help these sweet animals❤️❤️❤️
This poor thing must have been so sick. I hope she recovers ok
of all the things on tube...this blows my mind...what a skilled vet...wow.
Poor horse. You can see it’s eyes how miserable it is! Thanks for the excellent care!
Thank you so much for the video! Clarify a lot of confusion about the anatomy of the sinus!
Fascinating. I had no idea how complex a horse’s head anatomy is. I often wonder how horses deal with ailments if they are running free - their feet, etc. Thanks for this video.
Your videos are fantastic, sir. I don't own a horse yet found you very interesting, informative, and pleasant! Thank you for doing these. 🐴❤
Absolutely fascinating. I know it is somewhat different, but after I underwent a polypectomy about 7 years ago the relief was incredible.
The horse is beautiful, thank you for helping him!
Poor girl… first the abscess and tooth extraction and now the sinus drainage.
You did a very good job.
Great job Doc....thanks for being compassionate
Poor horsey. Bet he feels a lot better. Great job doc, on flushing out the sinuses. I've never seen this done. Its a construction site, hammering in nails. I should have been a vet.
That is one lucky horse to have you working on her.
I just found your channel and I’m absolutely enamoured I love it so much thank you for providing so much information
Welcome, thanks for following.
This is the kind of vidoes I end up watching Sunday 2 am
Thank you. Such was done for my horse after an upper pre-molar extraction.
That was incredibly interesting. Thank you 😊
Fascinating and well explained!
I wish I took procedures as well as this courageous horse
Thank you for posting these videos! They are super helpful! 🙏🏻😇
Welcome, glad you find them helpful.
I love horses this is kool to learn. Thanks for your videos.
That was very interesting, certainly brought relief.
Pretty calm horse!
Very interesting. Thank you for sharing.🐴
Awe Doctor this is a beautiful horse 🐴 😢she looks like she's has tears I know she will feel better thanks for helping her be blessed ❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉Good Girl, thanks
I would still have someone petting them just to keep them calm but this horse seams chilled out.. Love horses smart and beautiful.. spiritual animals
Thank god for people like you Dr. you really are an amazing man!!!
Wow, thank you!
That sweet horse is so good.
That's incredible!
thanks for the info doing it in a makeshift pen by self is a bit difficult
What a good horse!
Poor baby 😢
Eu queria fazer isso.. deve dar um alívio.. sofro de mais com sinusite 😫 que bom q conseguem tratar o animal senti o alívio dele aqui 🙌👏🙏🏼
Great job 👍🏻
Very Informative👍
very well done!
I hope that hole heals up. My horse lost the bone after sinus surgery and has a huge open hole for the past 3 years
😳 amazing video! 1 question I’ve had for years & can’t find an answer (it’s about human skulls, but feel they may be similar ) are there any holes in the skull leading to the sinus ? In the skulls in the beginning & end of video it looks like it has holes . (Example a small hole above eyebrows, that leads to sinus ) that’s why your face swells when You have an sinus infection or a cold & it hurts … but after u used the hammer I figured there weren’t any, I’m sure u would have used the access already there … thx much
Loved the video. Was the horse sedated for the procedure? If so, with what med? Thanks Dr. Moore.
Very good teacher
Thank you! 😃
How does the hole close up again?
Good Information.
I just can’t imagine it doesn’t hurt to go through the bone like that..
I am from india
this problen find in my horse.
How fix it
thats what i have tooth out once forme a hole i could blow through it.get sinus infection alot in the last few years im 40 now
That horse Is a saint
What a sweet girl 🐴💜
When do we make a bone flap and not trephination?
Very brave ❤
I noticed the horse’s eye look like as not feeling good with the sinus.
I found this pretty interesting, and I'm a city slicker😂
As someone who suffers with chronic sinusitis allergic rhinitis headaches from congestion, do horses suffer with congestion, headaches anyone know?
Are there nasal treatments to manage nasal / sinus congestion in horses (considering the allergens they are constantly exposed to)?
Es ist so interessant wie bei Pferden etwas behandelt wird. Ich ärgere mich das ich in der Schule zu schlecht war. Tierarzt wäre immer mein Traumberuf gewesen.😥
Awww 😮hope horse feeling better… I worked with horses and our Arab Zephur had a tracheostomy and she wasn’t very happy poor zeph 😢 was ok month later though
LOVE IT HERE
Poor baby!😢
youre so smart
I had exposure to horses growing up... but more with mules. I can still say that is one tolerant horse unless he's been sedated out of reality.
I'm not a vet med nor interested in horses, just a person unable to sleep... but I am curious if the hole made by the needle in the bone heals shut.
Also, poor horse's nose draining so much. I know that feeling lol
Oh that poor thing. All that stuff just pouring out of that tiny hole because of the pressure
Bless his heart?? I’m sure he has a headache and a mouth ache.
I need that done to me.
Why can’t the horse just have like a neti pot?
You know it's gonna be good when the vet pulls out a fucking ball and peen hammer lmao
Aww you can see in her eyes she doesn’t feel well
Why
😊❤
🐴
From Bandung, Indonesia
Lucky horse ❤❤
Poor baby
bro looks faded
Poor little baby
50 years ago at Massey university walked into where 4 dead horses were trusted up and skinned. Guess it was a Vet School
Wow!!!
Drill hole in skull and flush with antibiotic
I was expecting loads of snot. 🙁
❤
Now does that work for humans lol
😢😢😢
Люди,он спит
Hard to watch hammering that poor horse.
I wish this could be done on humans!
