i love considering gear. and as much gear as i have i have always passed by this vest. i like the defender fortis LBE and have lots of it but you have made me reconsider this vest and i may have to look for one.
@@LegionPreparedness fall back on? working class Americans dont have enough money to cover a medical emergency half of all Americans have less than 10k the bank and about half have over 10k in credit card debt. The reality is your average working class American cant afford a $180 Rhodesian or some $90 5.11 LBE I have several LBEs the 782s, FLC, I got some Rhodesians and some H harness LBEs eagle industries is the best supplier of this kind of gear in my opinion, Spector is another great quality inexpensive brand.
It's wild what the tactical gear industry has convinced us that paying insane amounts of money for plates, expensive high end plate carrier and it's high end hype pouches. It get's very expensive and most people need to setup much cheaper but still very effective alternatives instead. Elitism is bad and rife in the gear industry. Very commercialized for maximum profit over practicality these days. Especially when one realizes these hype brand carriers do not even hold much pouches or gear despite all that money spent... not as scalable for the mission and valuable resources are wasted. I would only get a slick plate carrier with plates if I ever had the money to run under neath a FLC like this nothing overly expensive as a setup then it should be either budget minded, I wouldn't spend more money for no reason at that point.
It wouldn't be a good idea to run with the admin pouch above ammo pouches. In a stressful situation, it would be difficult to pull a magazine freely from the pouch without having to encounter a pouch blocking your way.
I agree with you comment to a point. I offer you this counter/info. Yes most admin pouches will interfere with pulling mags (if) they protrude over the magazine pouches. However, there are admin pouches such as this one and a few others that are streamline, low profile, and easily tuck behind the magazine pouches and magazines and they won’t interfere with pulling mags. That said you also have to restrict yourself from trying to over pack the streamlined pouches. A couple GRGs, pens, pencils, (small items) that don’t make the pouch protrude. It’s a delicate decision making process. It’s just a matter of selecting the right pouch that will enable you not inhibit you
@ronaldrobertson2332 it also comes down to training. I had an LT back when I first joined that wore an admin pouch that when packed would push against the top of his magazine pouches. He got around it by training to pull the magazine forward slightly while pulling it out. It slowed down his reload a hair compared to the rest of us who didn't have anything sitting over our mag pouches, but he was still able to reload effectively and quickly. He is also where I learned to run a dump pouch from, as the admin pouch wouldn't allow him to quickly re-index magazines, and to this day I still have a roll up dump pouch that sits on my utility belt
I generally run mine at my 9 o'clock under my arm, with a smaller "boo boo pouch" at my 5 o'clock on my utility belt. Given my IFAK placement is dictated by my unit, so I don't really have a say in where it goes, but the primary is at my 9 o'clock with the TQ pouches on either side of my mag pouches up front for easy accessibility.
It's the belt that's supposed to run on the inside of the Flc but can be used as a separate belt. I wouldn't want to but it works. Watch the previous video LP put out about the Flc to get a better idea

It’s always good to have a contingency kit
This old surplus gear is still great compared to all the new hype stuff.
It is nice to have just incase you need to fall back on it

You’re welcome
Is this FLC in ranger green?
No it’s tan
Where would you run an ifak? 6 o'clock?

Do you think you could make a setup for SAW gunners?
I should be out next weekends this weekend
Anyone else having audio issues?
What belt is that?
