Update: Hey Fam since making this video I have posted it back to Perler so I'm waiting for a new one to arrive! Yes, I made a mistake, the item was shipped from the US not Canada. Sorry If I didn't make sense in the video and it was a bit of a downer. I was really excited about this product anyway thanks always for watching!

Hey guys have a simple fix! Use a standard size straw put it up inside till it all most touches the blue rotating bead dropper then cut the straw so about a inch or two is hanging out. You will be surprised how much better and accurate this makes it. And yes yours is not working right

I just started doing Perler beads due to Covid lol. I bought the pen also and it was jamming. I fixed mine by opening it and sanding down the blue wheel. It touches the casing causing a jam.
Hi! I have a perler pen that's not lined up right as well. I can't figure out how to open it. I took the screws out but can't get the cap off so that the two halves come apart. How did you take yours apart?

me too! in the end the product wasn't worth it, shipping cost for was 3X more than the actual pen is worth!

I have this pen and personally I really like it. There is only one issue with it, when the pen is on the fuller side the beads struggle to feed into the tube. So I find that lightly pressing the button to spin the beads around allows them more leeway to fall in. Hope this makes sense!

I have a perler bead pen and it works pretty well even though if you have to many it doesn't work or too little. And it's suppose to be in line and mines not on an angle!

I have a bead pen. And mine is aligned with the tunnel-thing. I think yours was just faulty lol. Hopefully you get a new one soon!! 😳

definitely looks like your pen is faulty. I want to buy a couple more because I love mine, and i want to expand my bead pen game. when you do get a working one, there is a learning curve for laying the beads. its amazing once you get it working.

+FiloPixie When it broke, it was about a month old, but I had been using it a lot. I think it was just defective, like yours.
i dont get why eveyrone is hating on the perler pen I love them i actually own like 6 of them so i dont have to keep emptying it and putting new beads in everytime i want to use a diffrent color cuz that can be tedias but once you get the hang of it it makes beading so much faster i get my projects done at least twice as fast as just using tweezers so yea im def in favor of the pen i hope your next one works
She's not really hating on the pen. It's just that her's didn't work so of corse she will have a negative outcome considering it was brand new

i totally agree, even putting a straw on the perler pen doesnt really make a difference, im glad when i go one i got a 40% discount because honestly $6 is waay to much for this trash pen. But im a loser for eve starting to do this perler bead hobby XD.

I agree, I have it myself....
I dunno. I have mixed feelings on it. It puts the beads out in lines relatively easy and fast but as far as filling in sections it shoots them out in a way it's impossible to line up. I rarely use the thing now. Maybe u can figure out some tips once u get ur replacement. Good luck!
