I love the lamp Shawn, that looks fantastic
I really love how that lamp works in that container, Shawn. Another masterpiece :)
Thank you so much Frank! Nice when a random idea works!
Absolutely fantastic how you incorporated the pop-out camp light into the design....Great job, Shawn!!
Thank you Aedo!
Drilling in Acrylic: 1] Go slow, take rests and let the acrylic cool down, you don't want the heat from the drill to melt it. 2] Creep up on the size you want. If you need to go from 5mm to 8mm go in 1 or even in 0.5mm increments rather than trying to go straight from 5 to 8mm.
I've seen a really nice 'simple' plywood framed throne, I'll email you an image. You'd need to make it more impressive but I think it might be useful to you as a frame.
Those are great tips and THANK YOU!!
Great episode Shawn!! Love the light and the custom greebly!!! Oh and thanks so much for the shout out my friend!
Credit where due … it was awesome!!
Looks great. The box light is a great addition to your container project.
Thanks Wayne!!
Good to have you back, it’s been a while…very busy man! Your cargo light idea looks great and like where your going with it.
I know … too many things going on!!!
Cheat sheets are great sheets to have around.
Awesome job! Loving how the table is progressing.
Thank you … I am pretty happy with it so far!
I need to stop watching your videos late at night…I get inspired and ideas start jumping in my head. Then I can’t sleep. Thanks…I think.
You are welcome… I think!!
Shawn,
1. So happy for your on your movie prop production. I hope it all turns out.
2. the design for light holder is brilliant! it has given me ideas of how I would like to implement it in future builds.
3. Absolutely love the greeble you made. Very cool
Thank you so much Garland and that is what I love about this community! So many ideas and ways for you to make it your own! So much inspiration!!!
Awesome build.
Thank you … it’s sooooo close to being done!
Excellent work as always.
Thank you very much!
Awesome video as always!
Thank you so much!
Glad you liked the switch! And thanks for the shoutout! You always crack me up…oh and btw…answer your dam phone! Great Prop!
Hahahaha!!!!
Nooooooo! LOL! OMG the video starts at 3:56. Kidding! Just Kidding!
Hahahhahhaaa!!!
"Greeblie porn" ;-) I loved all the costumes, gloves, hats and so on. I can't wait for all the art books due.
I agree!!
I’m running out of nice things to say Mr Cash, I may resort to my British humour and start heckling you instead like a Monty Python sketch out of the search for the holy grail lol… 😉
No, can’t do it, another great video and absolutely love this build. I’ve a load of these lamps I’d purchased last year with the intention of building those typical projects you see like you mentioned. However, I’ve also a large box I’m now considering making in to a Star Wars themed toy box for my little boy (on a side note he met Darth Vader in Disneyland Paris last week and loved it… he’s 18 months old! My lad, not Vader). Adding this style lamp in a similar way adds a neat night light or play light for him. Failing that I’m toying with the idea of turning my “man cave” from its current theme, in to a rebel style base room, it can live in there instead.
I just now need to find someone who can do me the templates but it’s a mission I’m willing to take.
As always good sir, all the best from me and mine to you and yours 👍🏼
P.s. don’t forget those helmet stands and display cabinets… I’m thinking of taking an IKEA Kallax and theming it up like Brian did with a unit in one of his recent videos. Add foam etc to look like rock 👌🏼 could look really cool.
P.p.s. Is there a PO Box for you at all? I’ve a few containers I think that’d look good Star Wars themed. They are old Yugoslavian Grenade carriers so not huge, similar size to those lamps. I want to do them in universe but I’d like to send you one so I can watch you do it first lol.
You are too kind! I just DM’ed you on Facebook!
Well that answers the question of "animal bat, or the kind thugs wrap in barbed wire?"
Now there's just the question of why I didn't say "cricket bat", "baseball bat", or "golf bat"...
Hahah!
That greeblie on the top of the light-Evil Ted mold?
It is!
@@trytofinishsomething LOL. Thanks for another great video!
I love the weathered imperial flags hanging in the background when we sit down after the intro. (Around 2:10)
Did you make them?
I didn’t! They were made by a super talented guy @kevin kanka of Protocol 13 Props and they were a GREAT price. If you can’t find him on Facebook DM me and I will get you his info!
Who is this David you speak of, his business card is too small to make out the deets 😁
I swear that wasn’t planned!!! I watched that back and thought the same thing … is this a commercial for Whitey?!?
Greeblie porn???? LOL!!!! Love the term!!!! Awesome video! Thanks for the shoutout! You give me too much credit.
Then again... 'stealing' ideas from other makers? Hmm... Why... you slimy, double-crossing, no-good swindler! You got a lot of guts!
*suspense music*
To be continued....
Hahahaha!!
What’s the name of the reddish brown color you use?
Sorry it took so long to respond! I didn’t have the paint with me since I was also using it for blood in the haunted house! It is Rustoleum 2X paint and primer Colonial Red Satin
Thank you!
