2011-2024 GSX-R HOW TO Oil Change (Long Version)

This video explains how to change the oil on a 2011-2024 Suzuki GSX-R 750. It will be similar for other years as well. The engine is the same engine for the most part since fuel injection. The biggest difference will be fairings.
I talk about the oil grade (jaso/ma, ma2) in this video and that is very important when it comes to motorcycle oil with wet clutches. We clutches have the oil inside the clutch basket (hence "wet") and without the JASO/MA rating the oil will prevent the clutches from working properly and cause them to slip. Rotella T6 has the proper certifications.

Disclaimer - I had always ran K&N until it wasn't allowed on my local racetrack. I currently have a K&N air filter.
I believe oil filter production moved over seas where air filter is still USA.

How does that Rotella t6 oil treat your bike? I have the same model. And is it true the "JASO" compatibility badge was removed?

Never heard of t6 getting the Jaso MA/MA2 certification removed. I've run rotella t6 and nothing else in my bike. If your concerned read the backside of the rotella box and it should list the certs. The 5w40 and 15w40 have their certs still per the rotella page.

Use tinfoil over headers shape it to drain into pan easy. No more old oil on headers.
