    I came to this understanding two and a half years ago, and I have been a city boy my entire life. I wouldn’t know the first thing about taking care of farm animals, even though I love them and want to move towards a more rural life. Haha. I see how beautiful every part of the Pesach truly is and look forward to a day when I can perform it to the fullest with an assembly.
    May you and the assembly have a wonderful Pesach and Festival of Unleavened Bread, brother Matthew. Your teachings have been a true blessing over the time I have been watching this ministry. May Yah continue to watch over, guide, and strengthen you. HalleluYah!

    Shalom brother Matthew. I see that following the activities of the first Passover is a remembrance, to honor the first Passover and to honor and remember Yeshua's sacrifice. Blessings to you and yours this coming Pesach.🙏🕊

      I do desire to know and understand more! I'm only one Passover in and this year was overwhelmingly obvious that I didn't know what direction to go. My question is how would animal sacrifice studies help me understand this topic more? Because it's the ceremonial rituals?

  • @Pedant_Patrol
    @Pedant_Patrol Рік тому +4

    Can you do a video on how you do the sacrifice? From the 10th day and how you care for the animal, to the slaughter, to the draining of blood, to how you cook it and burn what's left after all have eaten. And do you skin the Pesach or leave the skin on? I think this would be very helpful for many.
    Also, do you do any sacrifices other than the Pesach?

    • @emjmnc
      @emjmnc  Рік тому +4

      I don’t think the public is ready for that, but I may do one and make it private for a select few genuinely wanting to know and learn. Thanks my friend…
      P.S. We do skin the lamb, and remove the guts and intestines, but other than that we roast it whole: head, legs, and inner organs.

      Exodus 12:5 says it can be either a sheep or goat. The word lamb in the first part of the verse is “seh” in Hebrew meaning an “animal of the flock.”

      Part of remembering Yeshua (Jesus) is remembering his teaching. No one truly believes in him if they don’t believe in what he taught, and he taught to do the Torah not abolish it, Matthew 5:17-19.

    The blood of the 1st Passover lamb was a sign/mark to protect the people who obeyed and stayed under the covering from a physical death. The 2nd Passover lamb (Yeshua/Jesus) was slain and his blood is a covering for those who obey (stay under his protection) from the 2nd death. The first is the physical picture of what the Second did spiritually.

    • @emjmnc

      It’s a metaphor. He was sinless, like a sacrificial lamb is without blemish, 1 Peter 1:19.

    • @praiseYAHalways
      @praiseYAHalways Рік тому +2

      @@sistercarrieofyahuah8601 the Passover lamb was not a 'sacrifice' for sin or any such thing. It's blood was a mark on their homes, a sign, that told the spirit killing all the 1st born's who it could not touch. It's meat filled their bellies for the work (walk) ahead. If you obeyed the command you lived, if you did not then you were not protected. :)

    Every meat we eat was killed....so I see no issues. I live in the city so if I were to slaughter a lamb and someone saw me I could get arrested for animal abuse. Just like if a parent spanks their child in public they could get arrested for child abuse. Have a Joyous Passover.
