thanks for repairing my class 42 excellent job im to old to do any small close work anymore due fading eyesight and arthritis in my wrists and hands the video is up to your usual high standard keep up the good work and many thanks again robert

These locos are from the Hornby "design clever" era, and your video shows the corners that were cut to save money. I have one each of this, the 5205 & the 72xx class, and they all suffer from Hornby's approach during this period. Having said that, they do look the part.

astounding how Hornby has so many different mechanisms. Everything I have (post the Triang XOx designs) is completely different. Why? Must cost a fortune to redesign every model, and parts supply would be a nightmare (if they had any).
