Nice upgrades kegland and space creation to 4 kegs. I think it will sell well in our TAB stores. The use of the carbonation cap externally will make co2 cylinder removal real easy. well done. Nice video!
Just got mine today. It doesn't come with the red carbonation cap or a grommet to narrow the hole so you can just pass the airline through without leaving a massive gap which is going to allow the cold air to leak out. I can't find the carbonation caps for sale anywhere in the UK either. I think my only option is to drill a hole the same width as the airline through the plastic cap.
The gurgling noise is probably due to oil migration from the compressor into other parts of the fridge. If the fridge runs for long enough the oil will mostly return to the compressor and the sound should go away eventually but it might take a few months.
@@jonburchell2760 Mine took a couple years to stop. It's actually because I couldn't bare to leave it sit after freighting and just had to plug it all in. Oil didn't get a chance to settle
Looks the goods. I can see myself using my existing 3 tap font from the series 4 on this (I assume ti would fit?) so I always have the next keg cold and ready to go and use the series 4 for the 50L Kegmenter. My other full kegs can then be placed in the current fermenting fridge to condition. Hmmm...a most interesting proposition.
I just bought a Series X. Nice unit but some feedback - the air hoses supplied with font do not fit the barbs on the supplied quick disconnects. The inside diameter of the twin wall hose is 4 mm and the outside diameter of the barbs is 7mm and no amount of warming up the hoses, stretching the hose with needle nose pliers would get them to fit the barbs. Better to supply these with MFL fitting and pushlocks or pre-assemble. Would be a whole lot easier for your customers.
The fermenting fridge is well on the way but we still have more software development before this product is complete. I think we should have the fermenting fridges available early next year.
There are some super fantastic features here (the screw on gas port is a great feature). Are the liquid lines labeled so you know which line goes to which faucet?
We already offer these here: www.kegland.com.au/kegging/keg-dispensing/modular-fonts-accessories.html I should say that if you do this type of tee font you need to get our wider 50cm drip tray (this is about to be relesed in about 6 weeks. Yes we do supply quite a few products under the Komos brand by More Beer. More Beer have been fantastic to work with. I am fairly confident they will take on the Series X and they will probably also be supplied under the Komos brand too.
Hey I have the series x kegerator, with just a single keg at the moment....may upgrade. Just a thought, how do you guys and gals, keep track of how much beer is left in the tank, is there a set of scales we can put under the keg wile it's in the kegerator? Or some other method.
We have done some experiments with scales but dont really like this option as it chews up too much power and thus requires a power cord to be connected to the scales. We are having more luck with laser level sensors to pickup on the liquid level in the keg and these are lower power consumption so we can use a battery that will last more than 6 months and report the keg level height so this is more likely the way we will go in the future.
These are the new taps that are about to be released. This project has been going for some time but the Nukataps will be released soon. Can't say too much about these yet.
The deals on the website are already very sharp. Quite a lot of investment has gone into the development of this new model so I am sure you can appreciate this cost money too.
This is a great kegerator but be warned it will only fit 3 standard 19l AEB corny kegs ! The kegs he is showing are newly designed Kegland kegs. Just tried to fit a 4th keg in the fridge and a little annoyed to be honest :-(.
Hello Everyone! Since a week i'm the proud owner of a Kegland series X keggerator. Unfortunately it is missing the font fan tube. Can someone tell me what the diameter of the font fan tube is? Ill try and see if i can get a substitute at the local DIY shop. Can't find it on the kegland site under the spare parts section either.
You should not need to do that. The font fan tube should be packed in the box. Please contact the retailer so a replacement can be organised. Alternatively if you really want to just purchase one then you can use electrical conduit that is 20-22mm diameter.
Put a power meter on the device and you will notice that this unit is extremly power efficient. As we use a large evaporator inside the fridge this captures heat very effectively. As a result when the compressor cycles on for a very short period it will efficiently pump the heat to the radiators on the left and right hand wall of the fridge where the heat is dissapated. In many other fridge models they will save money by reducing the evaporator size. This results in the heat being absorbed by the evaporator very slowly and pushed into the radiators slowly so they are not as hot. As a result the compressor isrequired to stay on for a much longer time as it has to keep runing for a longer period to dissapate the same amount of heat.

Now I have to sell the Kegerator or my kegs 😡 Good to mention that is quite loud if you are thinking about to put in your living room, think twice, specifically late night and you are trying to watch a telly.
It sounds like your fridge has been tipped sideways or upside down. If this happens you can sometimes get oil migrate into the capiliary tube and create this a popping sound. If this has happened let the fridge run for a few months and the oil will eventually migrate back to the compressor. Always try to transport the fridge upright. Alternatively the popping sound might be caused by the aluminium cold plate at the back of the fridge changing shape as the cold refrigerant goes through the cold plate and flexes. I have been told by one customer that he solved this proplem by just loostening the screws that fasten the cold plate to the back of the fridge and this allows the cold plate at the back to move a little more freely without making this sound. It's hard to know without actually seeing and hearing the sound but these two things are the most likely.
