I asked the Lord if a 40 day fast was for me and He said “Come and see” on day 6/40!!! Going strong. Surrendering and submitting. Being humbled and stripped of my flesh so that He truly lives through me 100%
Day 12! Had breakthrough and deliverance yesterday from the Lord. He showed me I’ve been codependent all my life. One relationship to another. Drugs, jobs, people, other gods, etc. even after being truly saved. But this fast has really shown me I need to be dependent wholly on the Lord. My priorities are straightening out and I’m maturing. Praise God! God bless everyone
Mine was 21 days water fast for my husband who was a non believer seeing another woman at his work. One year later, he is a believer, ministering in church and leading prayers in our home. I got the idea of not fighting flesh so i took the battle to the spiritual level! But it was a very sacrificial excluciating time for me. Nontheless, i never gave up because at that time, i had nothing, so the fast was my only hope.

I’m on day 22 and feeling bad but usually when I pray and ask God for strength, he gives it to me. This is the longest I’ve gone. I usually do a 3 day dry fast. I’ve been feeling a need to a fast and i didn’t know when I needed to start but all the signs were there to start this season. I’ve been into my word more and reading more. It really is a blessing and will continue to trust God through the process. I also have a physically demanding job so I’m drained by the time I get off. I have slowed down some but I’m on my feet a lot. When I’m feeling weak I take a quick break. The Holy Spirit is our comforter and will give us strength when we feel weak.
I did 47 day's from January 1st-February 16th 2023 I'm on day 21 right now of my second and last 40 day fast for a good while lol God is necessary. And I don't follow any one religion. It took 10 years of only making it to 7 10 or 14 day's but I've always wanted to do 40

I have never done a fast befor. Should i do a 21day fast even if i dont feel led by God to do it atm, or should i wait? I dont wanna do it just because everyone else do it.. My whole life i was a lukewarm/cold christian , never knew that you could know for sure God exist, hear God speak, and didnt know about Holy Spirit. But this last year been crazy! Out of nowhere God led me to do a Daniels fast/diet. People have said to me now that its really not a sacrifice, but to me who eat like 2-3 people it was. I prayed 2 things when i was doing the fast/diet. 1. Do i need to get baptized? if so God help me. 2. Find other christians people to hang out and talk with. Day after i prayed i got a text from someone i didnt know, if i wanted to join their christian group.. Few weeks after God led me to my first housemeeting, and they talked about water baptize... I have never felt such hearthbeat befor. That evening i got baptized. Its crazy to see back where i was 1 year ago... Im ready to try a real fast. But shouldnt i be led to do it? and not just do it for fun? sorry for my bad english.
Yes you should be led, don't worry the Holy Spirit will take you deeper and deeper as you trust in him. You have a choice whether to keep going or stay at a certain level.
Hey Josue, I’m not Pastor Vlad but in fasting you generally keep your same routines, ie wake up times and go to bed times. What the focus on in a fast is to sacrifice physical food for the food in the Word of God. Personally though I try to wake 60-90min earlier then I normally do and spend more time with God, then also every meal time I generally will be reading the Word or praying.
I watched another video with Isaiah that the guest said his friend weaned off of caffeine first and it was so much worse with the caffeine than without, so I would try to avoid caffeinated teas. I've been looking into the same thing.

Start with a 24 fast with maybe just a liter of sparkling mineral water. Have your meal in the evening than have you next meal the following evening. Not too difficult but I notice it is easier with less water

I debate many people on this subject and what would the prayer of salvation be worth of you need to be baptized. I've seen many sermons of Billy Graham and he never said anything about being baptized by water. Just accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and repent of your sins changing direction. It's not in the New testament being baptized to be saved. I would think that Jesus dying on the cross shedding his blood tore down the barriers for Salvation. And I don't think the thief next to him was baptized which he saved.
No you do not. I was saved before I got baptized in water. Baptism by water is a public confession that you give your life to Jesus. It’s more for everyone else to see. I got the Holy Ghost a year before I was water baptized. You just need to be baptized int he spirit. It is nice to get water baptised though so the devil can’t use these thoughts and accusations against you as he will try threw ppl.

Can someone help me with this: I felt led to fast since January. I stumbled upon Daniel fast and agreed to do 22 days, but kept seeing #40, then I did 3 day water fast(hardest ever) then I kept seeing 40, then felt led to complete 40 days so I did another 15 days Daniel fast all adding up to 40. However each time I finished my fast I felt bad about eating (even though I purposed in my heart to do 22,3, and 15 days) and eating normal made me depressed. I’m realizing that it could’ve been that God was laying #40 as amount to complete, but I kept avoiding it. I thought he was accept the accumulation of 40 days and I did get provision…but I also felt disappointed like it all meant nothing…. I’m planning on restarting my fast for 40 days straight but am scared that the timing might not be right because I’m a college student who works and is very active in church and don’t know if I’ll pull through or if I should wait till free time..
I thought fasting was voluntary a choice not a forced command requirement to hear from God. I don’t want to believe I can only hear him clearly if I fast or that it’s the only way for Him to move. I got a a little mad feeling like I completed those days and it was hard but God didn’t seem to care unless it was 40. Fasting made me feel anemic and i became sunk in and know another 40 days will make me look …. Prayers your way and don't worry about the way you look. If you know the Lord is calling you to fast then know that you can do it. If you didn't know exactly what to do and how to do it, the Lord knows that and accepts what you did to your best. He is a righteous Judge and fair. I hope you know how to hear Him and what He wants through the Holy Spirit so you can be sure what He wants and if He wants it done then it can be done. Make sure you are baptized by the water and the Holy Spirit to hear the Holy Spirit, if you aren't already. You got this! Stay lit and stay blessed! 💚
Is it normal for my muscles bones and joints to ache during the first 3 days of a water fast? I also can’t sleep after day 1. I always hear about stomach pains from other people during their first few days but they never mention any aching all over the body. I’m wondering if there’s something I’m missing. I am also a professional basketball player and very lean so I’m not sure if that might play into it.

Ive done a 35 day fast and a 21 day fast. I pray God gives me the strength and discipline to do a 40 day fast. My body and spirit needs it.

It’s normal. I fasted dry fasting 72 without food and water before
