Your friends should’ve told you about this beforehand, on-arrival visa sirf hotel booking k days tak ka hi milta hai Qatar me. If you had accomodation you should’ve applied for visa from Pakistan or through your accomodation in Qatar who would show that you’re staying with them and don’t require a hotel booking. You could have saved all that money.

Same thing happened to us in Dubai. My wife on arrival visa was rejected by UAE because she had Canadian PR. The reason were 1. She must had one flight with Emirates 2. Hotel booking. On our journey back to Canada we booked 1 night stay through Marhaba ON Dubai airport and our flight from Islamabad to Dubai was with Emirates. Her visa was approved without a single question . So I had same experience with Dubai airport. It must be true for all Guelph countries.

You suppose have a confirmed hotel booking via Discover Qatar along with your return ticket to get on-arrival visa. This will get you visa for at-least the duration of your hotel stay. Otherwise its going to be an hassle and they give you limited stay visa. This is well documented so surprise you were not aware. However, they only require vaccination certificate if you are actually coming from Pakistan.

Before coming, please read the procedure govt site or take the help from Qatar Airways. If this man takes the flight from Qatar Airways, They didn't allow him to fly from the beginning.

Hello @saimat7082, I recently travelled to Qatar from China and encountered a situation regarding visa requirements. Upon arrival, we were advised to visit Discover Qatar and make a payment for two nights' accommodation. However, it was emphasized that this payment did not guarantee the issuance of a visa. Given that our intention was to spend only 18 hours in Qatar, this requirement seemed excessive.
There was a time when Qatar started granting visa to Pakistanis on arrival.....but sad state of affairs... Pakistanis like always started exploiting the situation and taking advantage and so visas were imposed again. Hur jagah ja kaey they are bringing bad name to the country.

Upon arrival, we were advised to visit Discover Qatar and make a payment for two nights' accommodation. However, it was emphasized that this payment did not guarantee the issuance of a visa. Given that our intention was to spend only 18 hours in Qatar, this requirement seemed excessive.

There was a time when Qatar started granting visa to Pakistanis on arrival.....but sad state of affairs... Pakistanis like always started exploiting the situation and taking advantage and so visas were imposed again. Hur jagah ja kaey they are bringing bad name to the country.
