Finally took delivery of our Maverick xlt hybrid. I must say I absolutely love this truck. Deciding on what type of cover to buy for the bed.
Hello, I have two videos on different bed covers. I personally prefer the roll-up because it’s allows me the ability to use most of the bed over the trifold. If I had the money I would go with a sturdier rollup. I also love the Maverick, I have taken it to Orlando 6 times driving 80mph and averaging 39 MPG and around 43 daily. Not one issue. Big you have any maverick questions in the future please comment and I’ll try to answer.
You can get that tailgate slightly higher by looping the cable around the lower pin. Discovered it by accident when it looped by itself

Good video! I never thought I would be driving a truck. I have always gravitated towards JDM. But I've had a hybrid Maverick for 1.5 years and absolutely love it!

Hey, so I used mullinex Ford in Apopka,Fl. They where 140 miles from my house. We ordered it and after 14 months there was no issue and they delivered it to me. I don’t know where you live, but You could always order It from them and that would make a nice road trip home. Atleoyoy would not need to worry about any BS. Jesse Friederich is who my salesman was and I ordered both the Maverick and bronco through them with no issues. Good luck

I totally agree with you. We are going to receive our hybrid Maverick mid August. Don’t need or want a larger truck. This is exactly what we need for a few bags of mulch, bag of dog food, or just hauling the lawnmower around. We ordered the sliding rear window for the dog to get some air as well as if I am moving some baseboard trim I can use the rear window if needed. Thank for the great video!

Good video! I found out from my salesman three days ago, that my 23 hybrid XLT is in the twin cities now, I live about 145 miles away, so should be here soon. I ordered on sept 19,22-----when the ordering banks were open, so took 10 months to get. Cheers!

The wait is tough. I waited 15 months for my Maverick. But it was so worth it. I love that little truck. The best part of it is once you get it you forget about the long wait. Hopefully you get yours a lot quicker then I got mine. Have a great day.
Just drove a '22 Hybrid XLT. I wanted to like it. It seemed cheap to me. I love the concept and sizing though.
Yes, the interior has a lot of plastic, but I learned to like it since I know it’s still a inexpensive vehicle. I can from a older BMW and even though it was old it had a very nice interior. Have a great day.
Good breakdown on the Maverick. Sadly, my 2023 Hybrid isn’t going to happen. 2024 order going in today. I’m guessing you aren’t originally from Florida.
Nope, born in Italy, been I Florida for 29 years. Hopefully Ford is giving you some kind of rebate. We 2022 order holders got a $2,750 rebate from Ford, hopefully you will also. Good luck with the 2024.
I love my Maverick ! I use it for everything. It’s been perfect . I use my F350 6.7 Diesel to haul my enclosed trailers and my horse trailer. The Maverick definitely has it’s place.

Exactly what I am doing I have a 1 ton diesel for when I need it but I want something to drive around Most trips to town you can put your parts in a plastic bag in the console.

It does look like a weird after-thought. I grew up driving regular pickups. The super-cabs weren’t bad when they appeared. Then the power utilities started driving crew cabs around. But how the general public has gone for these weird eyesores with these tiny un-secure rear cargo boxes is beyond me.
The problem is super cabs of today are huge, the firs f150 4 doors where about the size of a2024 ranger. We’re I live, there unguided a lot of people and traffic, a full size truck would be a pain to park and maneuver. If I live in a less populated place I would definitely drive a full size truck. That these trucks need is a division line ( even though fake ) to decide the bed from the cab, like on a body on frame truck. That would make it look better. Hey thanks for the comment. I just bought a F 150 2023 reg cab standard bed (6.5) with a roll up all aluminum tonneau(locks with the key fob or app) It’s proportions are very attractive. I saw the prices finally start to drop and waited until 15% off window ($8000 off top line msrp). My wife hopped right in it and did a propane and garden run to town and left me her X3! It is quiet, fast, visibility is so good out the rear window (over the tonneau) I have not heard a single complaint from her.
