    Hi coach!
    I am a middle and long distance runner
    my question i am wondering how many times a week i should do strength training 2 or 3?I saw that elite runners do it 2 times a week like Jacob Ingebrigtsen etc., what is your opinion on this?

      @rundreamachieve  Місяць тому +1

    I only ever achieved a 4:59 & 4:53 in high school. Repeat 400s with short rest is what put me over the edge.

    3 month ago my timing was 6.20/mile and from last 6 weeks my time lock in 6 min/mile, what should i do to run in sub 5.30?

    • @rundreamachieve

      Continue to train once per week at sub 5:30 mile pace, be patient..you are making good gains..a sub 5:30 may take another 6 months to a year to achieve. You can do this.

    Hello Nathan. I want to look at running a 2:56 marathon flat do you think I have a good shot at that. I have 7 weeks 1 day left on my program.

    • @rundreamachieve
      @rundreamachieve  Місяць тому +1

      Definitely possible. Keep practicing at paces around 2:48-50 marathon pace in training, get that long run out to around 19-23 miles in length. Good luck in your race in 7 weeks.

    Yesterday I ran a 15:42 for 5000m track, do you think i can run sub 31min for the 10km road in 8 weeks with good preparation or is a 31:30 more realistic, thanks in advance!;)

    Were you marathon training at the same time as these shorter 1600 and 5k distances ? Or was it more of a progression of longer distances as time went on ?

    I ran a 5:08 mile as an 8th grader. Didn't run it again until my senior year in H.S when I went out for XC and did a workout out 4x1 mile and ran each rep at 4:52-4:57. I always wonder what I could have ran if I went out for track instead of played baseball. Now I'm old 😞

    Im training for it now! About a 12 week training block and I'm in Indonesia at about 7500-9500 elevation. I was at a 5:38 mile as of May. I also have lost about 9 lbs up at elevation. I'm 5'8 185 and i want to get to 175-178. That feels healthy too me at age 45.
