Peep showed the hip-hop world that it was okay to be vulnerable in your music - in fact, he showed how you can even profit off of that emotional vulnerability. He wasn’t the first to do it, but he helped to popularize that “emo rap” trend along with X and Juice. I remember listening to his music when I was in a dark place in my college years. Now today I make my own music for a very small fanbase after gaining to courage to pursue the passion from listening to artists like Peep. He may not walk the Earth anymore - but his impact remains and continues to influence a whole new generation of musicians within the hip-hop universe and beyond. I’m forever grateful for his contribution to music, this cannot be understated.

Thank you for making this. I need to watch it again and fully absorb it. Peep changed my life, and is a large part of the reason I'm alive and sober to this day. I will never forget him, it would be impossible. Even after all the dumb shit I did and took. Peep is a constant source of inspiration to me, and so are his true friends and artists he worked with.
Peep shared some advice his mom gave him. He said time will heal everything. If anyone is experiencing the pain of a broken heart let me tell you that Peep is right. I fell in love in high school and had a 7 year relationship. It ended because of mistakes I made that I regret. No I didn't cheat. I just blew up and was too stupid to talk things out and was too stupid to realize the love I was throwing away. I had a broken heart for a long time. It's been 8 years since that breakup and I have finally moved on. Finally accepted the mistakes I made and learned from them instead of hurt over them. Time will heal you. It will. It just takes time. Fear is the first and hardest step within overcoming anything. You can move forward. It just takes time to grow.
I deeply relate to what Lil Peep was going through and I’m still going through it but Lil Peep’s words are so powerful that it’s hard to feel sad when I feel like he is right next to me!

Low key never liked lil peep for years. I thought he was a weird dude. I judged him as just another mumble rapper. Boy was I wrong. Listen to him all the time now he’s one of my favorite artists. RIP PEEP 🤍🦇
I feel like this was most people before he passed. It’s just weird now all the young kids don’t even know haha like what it I was when we discovered this at 14-15-16… I remember listening to omen, bones, Christ Travis. The lost goes on and on and on now I’m in my mid 20s and I see kids who were mt age listening to his music or does make me happy because I know how much it can help
Of course you are. You jumped on the bandwagon like 95% of his other "fans"
I'm a 45 year old. I was a street punk, I made it out alive, I hear his real pain. So I missed this whole seen and don't know that much of his music but I do know he was making honest art, from the music I have listened to. I respect the fuck out of him for that. Great mini doco, thanks. RIP LIL PEEP.
Thank you for taking the time to construct this painting for us. Gus saved my life. To see you honor him in a way i can't, is truly touching. Your hard work is clear, it shows. You deserve a grammy. God bless you in your journey. I'm subscribing.

Think about it: If xanax is legal for recreational use, there would be no fentanyl pressed counterfeit bars.
should we legalize it for recreational use? is it better to have more addicts than more ODs? think philosophically
He achieved gis goal with his music
That's why we peep fans are die hard fans til the end
Nice
itll be so sad when I'm like 60 and I think back of the brutal decade of 2010-2020 where we lost so so many too drugs ...like its unbelievably staggering

I'm still in shock after all those years... he was pretty much the only artist i could totally relate to back then and i was also suicidal doing xannies and drinking every night... and then this happened. i went downhill afterwards but ended up making it out. i fucking love everything you are Gus and I hope I can see you someday

I’m more than 5 years late in becoming a fan of Lil Peep, but better late than never I guess. I feel so sorry that he died so young. It didn’t have to be that way. 💔
I was drawing something from peep on my jacket when I clicked onto your deep Documentary, it was so interesting that I stopped working on my jacket and after the Documentary, I left it with a "wow". Thank you @Publish X for doing that awesome work. LIL PEEP FOREVER!
This generation of kids and young adults have had a rough last 5 years losing all these artists man.

His life reflects mine so much.. rest easy peep 🙏
damm, I was allready waiting for this one. Love this serie man
The girl at 16:04 was an old friend of mine who introduced me to Lil Peep’s music and now he’s forever one of my favorite artists
This just gives me more courage and confidences to be a artist . Rip peep
It just takes time to grow.
wanted to share with you i send his mom a message and she replied with a HEART, long live LIL PEEP
Those girls that teased peep are regretting to do that
