One of the best series I’ve ever seen. Now everyone I know has seen it. Highly recommend. Should be part of public schools curriculum. Outstanding production values and so much knowledge. A truly worthy project. And she is a rock star 🌟
She does outstanding professional work. I enjoy her work and I've learned so much! I have nothing but praise for her , her directors, writers, sound, lighting and crews. She is in front of the camera, the Team behind her help make her a great success! Thank you !
I hope it is not too late to say THANK YOU ZEINEB.i think we all africans have a lot to learn about ourselves, for that to happen we need more people like you.thank you very much.i'm Eritrean.
This woman is on to something of Gem I have always seen her in high esteem. The history of Africa need to be uncovered...Good Luck Zeinab and your crew in your quest towards the truth!!!XXX!!!HA
“The history of Africa told by Africans themselves” quipped the charismatic and proud daughter of Sudan/Africa. Proud of you. NO more deception, manipulation and extortion of Africa by the West by way of colony, neo-colony or the formation of puppet governments. The road to the ultimate freedom from the West’s control is long and it requires, among others, selfless honest patriotism by sons and daughters of Africa. Eritrea is one (or the) example of it in Africa (and beyond).
I have been watching starting "The Ahazabie" -Tanzani few (isolated group of people story up to 29 July 2017. I saw she was traversing and going across the East Africa. I saw marevelous and courageous energy inside her while she has been traveling from different weather conditions and from place to place. Though consuming to her, she provided us truth and great information. I'm sure the documentaries are incredible to get insight about Africans on the other side of the coin. I really I love what she has done; and whsh her longer life and better working conditions and happiness.
Wowww....Zainab Bedewi is one of my favourite journalists. She is really inspiring to all migrants from all over the world and particularly East Africans, who doen't reach commendable milestones as compared to other parts of the world.
I have always been Pan-Africanist! The more lies and fibs the colonizers tell and teach about our people and continent, the more i explore for hidden side of it. U see, we blacks will never decolonize our mind until we try to learn how to love our selves. We Africans have everything with us and within us. I love my people kush! One love kush!
Oh boy! I haven't seen the series (as yet). But I do recall that Prof. Ali Mazuri , part Omani Arab and Ugandan, also had a highly touted series called "The Africans". Of course, he too was an African son of the soil, so to speak, educated at the best schools in the world: Manchester (BA), Columbia (MA) and Oxford (PhD). Upon further scrutiny, it turns out that his series "The Africans" had many glaring omissions that almost bordered on propaganda. I don't want to get into that here. However, a lesser known series conducted by the White British historian Basil Davidson was more historically accurate than thee series made by thee African born and raised scholar. I say all that to say, the devil is in the details. Just because someone was born (and in this case not raised) in Africa does not give them more credibility automatically in producing a series about Africa. Moving to England at age 2 and educated in British schools makes this woman functionally equivalent to any White person from the UK who makes a video on Africa! I will wait until I see the series before I comment on the interstices of its content.
Seiner, thank you for the wonderful interview history of Africa,I'm looking forward for more, please keep it up,Yared, good job I am so proud of you keep it up
Zeinab is originally Sudanese. She is from Badri family,,,, a family of scholars and scientists renowned for pioneering in education ..her grandfather, Babiker Badri, was the first man to advocate woman's right to education since really 20th century and he founded the first school for girls in Sudan in 1907
Hmmm... I had no idea that Zeinab Badawi was "panafrican" nationalist... the whole series is centered around African national identity as if national idea and sentiment have existed since prehistory till now...
It does exist ! just we feel , data's belong to this era and owned by the west is BIG misleading thing. EGYPTIAN PIRAMIDS, NUBIAN PYRAMIDS, ERITREAN AND ETHIOPIAN PILLARS AND ALL THE CAVE ARTS AS WELL AS ORAL TRADITION PLUS THE CULTURALY AND RELIGIOUS SCRIPTURES. ATLEAST ALL CAN HELP TO DRIVE DATA . THEREFORE, DON'T ASSUME AFRICAN HISTORY , DATA AND INFORMATION IS SUPPLIED OR FABRICATED BY WEST
Zainab Badawi comes from Nubia, the land in North Sudan and South Egypt. The Nubians are the original people of Kush. The Kushites must have been nomads who emigrated from the Land of Punt - today's Republic of Somaliland - through Eritrea and Eastern Sudan. The Somalilanders and the Nubians have the same complexion.
