I like pedals to spin fast on my XC and cyclocross bikes, but I am thinking about tightening up the bearings on my jump bike for when I do footplants and one footers and stuff. The drag does annoy me on XC, but I don't feel it, I just know it's there. Not really an issue on jumps, like how a lot of the pros put a cut up bit of tyre in their cranks to stop them spinning at all.
