That's crazy bro, I got the same problem lol. I left the iris's shaders menu on for too long (went to have breakfast) and it started flashing, burning my screen
WOw , not spamming, my asus tuf vg289q was playing up and i could see text behind and i saw a difference within 5 minutes of this video, im gonna leave it on, quick tip , dont use dark theme on windows its when it messed up for me the screen cant take it i think
@@jogetsu1439 I switched to dark theme and 2 days later this happened. The text burnt into the lcd was only on screen for around 15 minutes and it was strange. I left this video on and came back an hour later and no burn just perfect working monitor. I went back to the light theme and not experienced this problem since doing so. I paid around €300+ for the monitor so glad I didn’t have to throw it away
it removes any stuck pixel. because retention means pixel are in previous stage and they are being lazy. this forces them to change shape, and this doesnt work for Amoled becuase in the Oragnic LED (oled) panels the organic substance dies . instead of being stuck. that leads to a burn in instead of a retentions. oled screens have burn in which is permanent and in ips screens there is retentions. and its temporary which goes away if the screen is given some rest or if the screen is constantly turned on or off like in this test. the type of screen which dont have these kind of issues are mini leds.
