- I headed out to Lake St Clair to do some musky fishing with my cousin for the day. I typically try to avoid weekends at Lake St. Clair because it can be like Bumper Boats, specially when the weather is nice.
We had to grind hard but we were able to get the job done!

nice fish Mike -- we were out fishing the marker buoys on a saturday in nov. nice day - went 3 for 4 , nothing over 42 in. ??? kyle moxon got a 53+ in. early that morning, fist green marker on the right, going to the lake.
Very niceeee. Can you please explain how to cast heavy Lures without hurting shoulder??? Thanks a lot
I guess the best way to explain it, would be to use the weight of the lure and bend in the rod. You don’t need to cast them like bass lures, the weight alone bending the rod will launch the lures. Hopefully that helps
@VANBEASTfishing hnaks for the answer. I would like to understand how to handle weights. For example, when I have to lift the bait and then cast, I place the handle on my hip, leveraging, I keep my shoulders still, I swing the bait backwards, with the handle resting on my hip, with a long line (from the tip to the reel), and when I "feel" that the rod is loading at the right point, I pull away until the cast is completed, making sure that the elbow acts as a fulcrum, therefore with the shoulders still. A sinuous, accompanying movement, without jerks or whips. I cast up to 230 gr and I reach 30\35 metres. Nevertheless I get tired and for weeks I carry the inflammation. something wrong, but what? i need suggestions.
