About the stupid plan to save Parsley brother, if I remember correctly in the same episode she was perfectly capable of climbing on the roof to have a "deep moment". So she could have just reached her brother without bothering Thyme. Not to mention that Thyme knows old magic. . . "I don't believe in consistency" -Hobie Brown
Thyme is the type of Spy main who buys all the cosmetics, trades or crafts all the weapons, and can't play Spy worth a shit because she constantly fumbles the backstabs and disguises as the same person she's trying to stab every single time.
Can we just have a series with Chompy, Chibi Neppy, those creatures doing that mating ritual, that striped ferret thing that Rosehairy wanted to get rabies from, that griffon, the scypith, and a grog realizing that Lyngarth is a hellhole and team up to take down everyone and build a better world? I literally just came up with that in ten seconds.
Another thing that I’m not sure is an animation error is that throughout the entire show the characters keep changing their models. The proportions are never consistent between each shot and it’s really bothersome. I don’t know what the animators were doing with those character sheets they showed off but it sure wasn’t for animating
I will say you and other people hating on this series have made me an actual fan I have realized that it is perfect for cringe fanfiction, seeing as the result wont be any diferent from the actual show
Since Parsley's family is baked, does that mean other people can be baked? Can they be like gingerbread cookies or chocolate chip cookies or oatmeal raisin cookies? What if they were all cookie people in a candy fantasy world with dark humor called High Cookie Spice? Nah, they'd never buy into something that had thought put into it.
Never registered in my brain that the personalization they gave to Thyme and Parsley’s room boils down to: books... and random tools. Right above her bed, too, seems dangerous. Looks like a serial killer den.
This video documents pretty well why I do not like the „budget“ argument when it comes to the animation quality. These errors have nothing to do with budget, at best it shows how inexperienced the animators were and that working on several 20-minute episodes clearly overwhelmed them, and at worst its showing a clear lack of care, attention and love for the project itself. Personally I think it‘s a mix of both, and having only a small budget on top of that is of course the nail in the coffin - but don‘t pretend that‘s the only reason the result is bad. I do feel some sympathy, though. It‘s always a bit painful for me watch these error compilations, not (only) because of the errors themselves but because I feel like I can sense the artist‘s frustration at times in some especially bad shots; like they were only aiming to churn out frame by frame, knowing very well it does not look good but not caring enough anymore to do better - for whatever reason - and just wanting to finally get this done over with, because the situation is how it is now.
3:09 It's kind of hard to see, but I'm fairly certain some of the brothers' feet were clipping into the stairs in that one scene. Either that or it was just shown at a weird angle. Hard to tell in a show that suffers from both perspective AND laying issues.
as a person who makes comics about my characters and magic, I'm afraid that he will come out the same quality as this cartoon. but it's a little consoling that HGS was made by a big team with a big budget and a studio, and I .... literally alone.
Alternatively own the bad errors as a side effect of improper magic use. “Careful kids, first lesson of magic is to always use the correct pronunciation; don’t wanna end up like Sage who mixed her x’s and c’s and clipped through the floor into the back rooms!”
I can't wait to watch another schizophrenic rambling of one of my favorite content creators. The buttons are behind you. The buttons are behind you. Buttons are behind you. Buttons are coming for you.
You know the part where parsley and her parents were in a huge fight and afterwards parsley went up to the roof to sulk, well …why can she or thyme climb up to the roof and get her brother down from the roof. Why go through such inconsistent plan with a bucket and a rope but instead of climbing up there, which btw it’s faster.
I'm sure they already violate multiple building codes with those several stories of stairs or rooms that can only be accessed via portal/teleportation magic... And we know from Ep 12 that firefighters exist in this world, so surely fire safety codes do too. How much can we nail them for?
2:58 bith in this shot and in 3:04 the doorways are much bigger than dwarfs so normal human being can fit yet in 3:09 the entrance is elf (I don't remember names except for our consumer of world Rosemary) have bend her back. Either it shrunk or building is very inconsistent. And again 3:17 they're bigger
@@dragowolfraven3806Maybe if they focused on hiring actual good writers and professionals instead of diversity in their cast then the show probably would've succeeded. The fact that one of the women working on the show has a history of being extremely sexist against men and even calling for the death of the whole gender didn't help their show either.😂
Yeah, what is with Rosemary's joke at Thyme? And then there's Sage's insult in Ep3 about haunting a clock tower... Are the Pebble girls calling Thyme a...rhymes with "mook", starts with "sp"? I-It's not a good word to call a black person by, is what I'm saying. That's the most sense I can make of their unnatural dialogue.
So i wonder if they let the artists have references, like not just character refrences but scene refrences and stuff, it seems like they don't have references and so things disappear or jump because the artist doesn't know what the scene is supposed to look like This show is such a mess a studio was hired to produce this show and ive seen better quality out of small indie projects, its really upsetting tbh..
Ive got a bit of a complex with my animations (theyre mediocre at best, but in my defense I'm teaching myself) and this show unironically gave me a huge confidence boost. If this can be published, im not that bad
I do apologise for not watching your content but I utterly forgotten that this show existed until it popped up on my UA-cam list and now I’m fascinated by the sheer amount of errors in this car wreak has
I'm gonna make a cartoon about scrabbles, where I scrable every character and background. You'll probably get eye cancer but the animation will be super fluid. You will love it! 😊
I got a theory: the objecst that are disappearing aren't really disappearing, they're just standing so perfectly still they appeal to be invisible
*objects, appear
If I can't see you, you can't see me!
Its not so much that they appear or disappear, but they just have not finished loading into the screen yet.
Drax taught them well.
Women lack object permanence.

Thank God hobie brown for inventing cinema
Ikr. Like, why even bother.
Well, this episode also only had 6 storyboard artists. Might explain why there are fewer errors to spot this time around.
You're joking right...?
There's no way the other episodes have more errors. I haven't watched the other videos but this is a lot of errors man-
@@TechnoBen Oh, this is one of the smaller counts so far. Episode 3 had well over 100.

The fact that you can make sketches whiteout animation that are better than the show is not impressive. the bar is on the floor.
The only time there are no button errors is when there are no buttons.
If Sage and Rose are Chompy's owners...shouldn't they already know how to make Chompy carry their things? I mean, it's their "pet"...or whatever...
in general, it is rather strange to use a living thing to carry an important load.

It's already at rock bottom, so nowhere else the quality can go but up.
