Thanks for posting this informative video. Nura did an excellent job of explaining how the elevated wheels make it easier to traverse a grassed area. The FreeWheel Wheelchair Attachment seems like a device that could help thousands of people who use wheelchairs.
Thank you so much! Yós it whith that wheel! It's expensive, isn't it? In Germanv there are 745€ to pay plus about 200€ for the tube ae an expander between the X to make it firm. It's made to fit at nearly ANY wheelchair !
In Belgium it cost me about €500 and there are several ways to adapt it to different foot rests, even DIY. One can add a basket or also a regular lock. It is difficult to take it along if you have a backpack. Enjoy!
Vandenkerckhove : Thanks! But in Germany you end the Garanty of the Wheel chair, if you do anything diy! We must sign when we get them by a sanitary house that we never change anything ourselves even not to screw anything at it or do things they allways do!
@@ConnyNordlicht I am from the Netherlands and here the standard version cost 625 euros for the whole item. I want to make metal straps on it to help steer it with my feet. I can move my legs. This way I can relieve my arms when driving (I have a smartdrive too)
just a FYI. Only take your freewheel off your chair in the drag position, if you keep tsking it off the way you are your going to hurt the freewheel and your chair
